I love it!

Heard that this morning. Decent tune. Very old style Oasis.

Have also heard the unremixed version of Falling Down. Like that aswell.

Still expecting the album to be another let down mind.

All the previews are posotive, so I'm hopeful. DBTT wasn't great admittedly, a couple of good tunes but nothing special.

But I like the sound of this album so far.

You scummy bastard Elvis. You should listen to a bit of Bob Dylan. I recommend "hurricane".

No, im a big Oasis fan. Used to love them. I just wanted to call you a scummy bastard.

Bob Dylan's fecking ledge.

That song grows on your the longer you listen through it (Oasis, not Dylan)

A good album wouldn't be a return to form for Oasis, DBTT was a good album, better than most of the shite many bands are producing these days. Personally I think Oasis have only made one bad album, SOTSOG, and even that has its decent tunes on it, I can certainly still listen through it and mostly enjoy it. Thing is with these prats who slag off Oasis, everyone got on their back for Be Here Now, and you listen to that now, and its absolutely cracking. The problem it has is that it isn't Whats The Story, and it isn't Definately Maybe. But those are two of the greatest albums by any artist of all time, how the hell can you compete with that!

I'm looking forward to the new album, I'm hoping its a good listen

Coudln't agree more about Be Here Now, some cracking tunes on there. It is criminally underrated IMO.

I think the new album is poor.

Perhaps it will need a few more play throughs, but I'm extremely disappointed.

Fair play for being honest. I have it on my mp3 player but haven't listened to it all the way through yet. There were a couple I liked though.

Is it me or is the sound quality fairly poor? Sounds like it was recorded in a toilet.

The sound quality on my download wasn't great no, but that doesn't really offer a valid excuse. I like the Shock of Lightning, Waiting for the Rapture and The Nature of Reality, but the rest were average at best (Again on first thoughts).

Doesn't even come close to any of their first 4 albums IMO.

I'm Outta Time is by far and away the best song on the album.

Don't worry if you don't like it now Elvis it seems like a bit of a grower as a whole. I recoiled physically from a couple of the tracks earlier but am now starting to hum along to them. The album's a huge improvement on the pile of wank that was Don't Believe the Truth at any rate .

Definitely agree about this being a grower. A decent album at least, cant believe anyone who's listened through a few times would say they thought it was terrible. I would have preferred them to be back to their best but still, harsh to call this crap.

"Waiting for the Rapture" is like a carbon copy of "Five to One" by The Doors.

Good album I think, nothing brilliant, but better than most of the stuff out there.

I'd rather spend the day pulling out my own teeth than listen to Oasis shite!

Thanks for your contribution. Why dont you go pull out your teeth instead of coming into an Oasis thread and posting as if someone had suggested you should listen to Oasis.

The thread clearly isn't called 'Things I'd rather do than listen to Oasis' so why read it at all if you hate them?

Sounds great.. I'm not going to listen any other songs ´cause wanna wait for the real release of the album..

The word "tonight" is also included to the song like in every other song that they have ever made.
