You've got to be fecking kidding me.
Why? What? No. Did I make a mistake?

Creating those lists is a real bitch by the way. I have a lot of respect for Aldo and Skizzo. Takes so much time as well.

Quite pleased with that to be honest. No research, got me a solid CB and one of my favorite fullbacks in Zanetti!

Excellent combo that. Can't believe Zanetti was knocking around. I assumed the Zidane boys had got Nedved, Nesta and Zanetti. How else had they not blocked each other?

@harms your calculations were pretty smart. But feck me, how unlucky for you, that two managers went for the same two games and avoided each other with both picks  I guess you didn't expect that. You actually got lucky that the 2nd pair was Preud'homme and Rummenigge and not Kaltz and Rummenigge or you would have picked two sheep here.

I mean WHAT THE feck WAS HE THINKING?!?!??!

You have Laudrup and an obvious Barca lost final... so you go get Blanc and Kahn in R1 :wenger:

Didn't think that Rummenigge would've been picked from a different game, and Breitner too, without me noticing. Ignorant. Deserve a sheep. Should've picked the safe option

Edgar Allan Pillow - PASS (Baresi) - PASS (Roberto Baggio)

This gif must feature in all drafts, at least once!

@harms, very unlucky. I actually told sajeev there were two finals which looked safe for good picks over two rounds, the one he went for and the one you did. It seemed obvious if anyone went for Breitner then Kalle would be available, and viceversa. And that if two managers had gone there they would have clashed over Kalle/BBreitner or Kaltz/Gerets... it never occured to me someone would be happy to get nailed to that final via Preud'homme with no guarantee of getting Breitner/Kalle.

Are you assisting Sajeev, Anto?

Not proper, but every time I invite him he is concerned about research time causing trouble with other commitments (namely, family) so giving him a hand there. He seems to have picked the most research intensive sort of draft! But it's good fun and well worth it.

Are you consulting everyone except me? It feels like it sometimes

Yeah, I was sure that two managers couldn't have picked from Kalle/Breitner and Gerets/Kaltz smoothly and one pair would be left. So I checked the availability of a "gloryhunter pair" of Rummenigge/Gerets in the second round, and thought that it means that Breitner and Kaltz were up for grabs, if only sajeev didn't gamble earlier and guessed successfully both free picks from that pair.

@NoPace didn't give a damn about my logic though  A risky pick from him, but worked out great in the end

Edgar wins the last round. MDFC with a big pick Basten as well.

Basten was a ballsy pick, but with Reuter the only reasonable pair it was a decent "get both or move on" option.

Edgar not getting blocked is mental, I assumed 2-3 playeers would end up blocking each other all the way to sheep. It seems many saw it that way, but none had as huge an incentive as EAP.

That's one of the interesting things with sheep and their "cost". When you have none you try avoid it but can afford to be carefree, with many you don't give a rats any more and go for broke... when you have one it's terrible, you have to keep being cautious not to get your second... I should know, I got Djemba-Djemba staright off the bat last time and it completely screwed me thereafter.

Shoot man. No worries. I've actually had other managers asking me stuff (how is X rated? X or Y?) and it's no big deal really so long as I don't end up in a position whereby I know people's picks. If that happened by accident though I would tell the involved managers I'm out for the round.

With so many goat strikers blocked, van Basten is easily above those as a pick here.

Yup, there won't be a better striker than Marco in this draft. Not with Stobz picking Kahn and Blanc ahead of the bleeding obvious.

@harms, the Sheep Committee has spoken.

You got into a right mess with that 1982 vintage, trying all sorts. A valiant effort, but one that has landed you a sheep from that Bayern side.

Not Breitner.

Not Rummenigge.

But the fabulously-named...

Meh I wished people stopped PM'ing each other for advice. You're essentially asking voters what they think of your potential picks. The guys trying to do it alone stand no chance against a team effort.

I can't believe Baresi-Baggio and Nedved-Zidane got through. Great picks.

yeah quite chuffed. I had 0 research.

@MJJ, the Sheep Committee has spoken.

You are a very naughty boy, you even had us having to talk soft-like-a-marshmallow Baloo out of breaking rules, which would have been unfair on VivaJ.

We suggest you start aiming for the very best like EAP or that sheep ship will sink.

Fortunately though, that's a bloody good Juve side, and we couldn't find a shit enough sheep for you so you get a rather decent player here, albeit one with a very bad int'l tourno under his belt.

You are at fault if anyone decided to check my google history from now on! I googled "Hans Wiener", of course.

He isn't that bad at the first glance. A decent round to pick a sheep, actually (if you are taking out of the consideration that it was almost impossible to do).
