shite team building. Losing to Jazz and Phoenix despite being favorites is unacceptable. But spurs made the experiment pretty boring anyway.

No matter what happens, at least one Cafite will see the NBA Final for the first time. Kevin Durant and his Wizards have had such an iron grip on the East that none of reelworld II, Two Nil, Stobzilla II or SebJr have made it. None of the Knicks trio have made the Conference Finals before, for that matter. SebJr has, but was defeated by his current team.
Will the Spurs gang get to their 4th Final? Players grumble about them having broken the league, but they're still "only" sitting on two rings, for all their talent.

What a shocker, it's the Wizards vs the Spurs again. Although it's actually genuinely a little bit surprising to see Washington in the Final for once. hobbers' Boston teams get a lot of stick, but this is on paper the weakest Washington team in years. Though it should be pointed out that the SebJr trade happened fairly late in the season, so the regular season record might not be a reliable measure.
Can they beat the Spurs gang, though? I doubt it, but they've done it before!

The Spurs have won their third ring! In the end it wasn't very close, though it required avoiding injuries to a very thin squad beyond the starting 5. To those that are worried that this means the Spurs are going to win the next 8 rings in a row, I wouldn't be too worried. There are already signs that some of the young stars aren't happy being just a cog in the machine, particularly when the Spurs don't seem to favour upping their facility spending to match the ambition. But that is a challenge for the future, for now the Spurs are victorious!

The San Antonio Spurs won their 3rd ever Championship, all with the current golden generation crop. A 79-3 regular season followed by a 16-0 regular season run, no doubt the best team in NBA history. They have weaknesses, but their starting 5 has none. I won't predict an obvious repeat winner quite yet, given they failed to win again after both their previous rings.

I think I got everyone. This is the first time since 1997 that altodevil doesn't have a single 25+ rebound game. I guess 21 isn't too bad for a 41 year old. Decide for yourself whether it was a good trade or not for the Lakers. I guess they got what they wanted: a bad team to get good picks for the future.
