I fear the only thing I've accomplished with this Experiment is to massively inflate the egos of hobbers and altodevil.

And maybe also Solius, but he's very down to Earth.
Which is exactly what the world was missing.

BenotiSTARR 34 years old this year, are we getting a junior hammer next season?

Don‘t seem much different to other forum games. Maybe hobbers even a tad bit tame since, wait for it, he ain‘t a champion.

Possibly. It's definitely one of those stats that seems like you can ditch for some fancier stats, but it might hurt you in the end. Literally.

Well, it‘s definitely not a stat you want to 100 or anywhere near that at the start as it almost by default increases significantly over the first years.

But I‘m happy with a hot-shot-glass-cannon youngster (who possibly get outlived by his father :lol: )

I am the greatest 3 point shooter to ever exist.

(@BenitoSTARR @Dan @Dr. Dwayne @P-Nut @Salt Bailly @Samid @Skizzo @Solius @Stobzilla @The Cat @V.O. @altodevil @hobbers @oneniltothearsenal @reelworld @sebsheep @weetee @Heine)

Skizzo you still haven't found a team. You can make a new guy mid-season if you want to.

Trades

The Cub & Dr. Dwayne (Thunder) - the tank rolls on. Not sure how valuable Utah's pick will be, but whatever.

Samid (Timberwolves, Salt Bailly & Pepper Bailly (Kings) - who even needs a Center? Not the Kings, apparently.

East

The East is getting depopulated, as Cafites leave for the West. Maybe in the hopes that it will be easier? At the top there's still Washington and Boston (hobbers), but they aren't quite as dominant as earlier. SebJr will probably make the playoffs with Miami, and maybe Two Nil's Toronto as well. I suspect Dan II will not, though the Pistons started well. He has played one game so far, for a total of 4 minutes. In those 4 minutes he scored 9 points.

Dr. Junior is a tosser toss-up, as far as making the playoffs. Further down we have BenitoSTARR & Stobzilla II, who need to get into a higher gear if they want to have any chance at all. reelworld II is quietly having a wonderful season. It's quiet because his team is really bad and nobody is watching.

West

K00HXUQ.png

At the top of the West there's the previous (and expected) 1-seed Houston, with the pairing of Lil' V.O. and weeweetee. The Fearsome Foursome (Nobbers, Heine, altodevil and Solius) is currently in third, but with a pretty high MOV (Margin Of Victory, basically goal difference). Behind those it's quite tight, with weetee's Warriors just one win ahead of sontodevil's Grizzlies.

Samid is right outside of the playoff spots. Then it's a slightly jump to the Bailly Family in Sacramento. I would be surprised if they don't make a push for the playoffs. The same could be said for P-Nut's Nuggets, as the man himself is playing his ass off. 9-16 is not ideal. It's more ideal than 4-19 or 3-22 though, FAO: Solius, The Cub and Dr. Dwayne.

I thought I'd start including some mid-season stats as well.

Other notable things:
  • weeweetee seems to have low counting stats, just like his father. His PER is a very healthy 20.3 though, which his old man only managed one season.
  • Nobbers is the current scoring league leader
  • The top 5 in the MVP race (very early, of course!) is 1. sontodevil 2. Kevin Durant 3. P-Nut 4. Josh Smith 5. Lil' V.O. --- Note that Durant has often not lead at this point, but he always wins.
  • Sonius is the current Rookie of the Year leader.
  • weetee is the current 6th Man of the Year leader, and is also the only player in the league above 60% 3P percentage. The second highest is 53.3%.
  • P-Nut, Pepper Bailly and reelworld II are the top 3 offensive players according to OWS (Offensive Win Shares)
  • altodevil, sontodevil and Lil'. V.O. are the top 3 defensive players according to DWS (Defensive Win Shares)
  • The Cub has 6.1 EWA (Estimated Wins Added). His team has 3 wins.
  • Lil' V.O. and Two Nil are the only players with 60%+ Field Goal Percentage, at 77.3% and 69.9%.

(Do I understand it right with the tags, tried to understand them from the first updates? With (A) Athletic, (Di) Internal Defence and (Dp) Perimeter Defence).

Yep.

3 = Three Point Shooter
A = Athletic
B = Ball Handler
Di = Interior Defender
Dp = Perimeter Defender
Po = Post Scorer
Ps = Passer
R = Rebounder
V = Volume Scorer

Kevin Durant is currently the only player with all of them.

Here's some motivation for you: you're currently 298 points behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all time scorer in the NBA.

You're also already the most blocked player in NBA history, so you can rest easy on that front.

Will I definitely play til 2020 or is there a chance I just retire?

Damn nobbers is only missing rebounder.

I like the nickname

Well placed for a playoff spot supporting Nobbers to 30 ppg, go Spurs!

And I guess Nobbers have had a injury, considering 5-5 last 10 and him only having 15 games played

There's a chance, but Salt Bailly and Dr. Dwayne are still playing at 38, and altodevil and hobbers at 37. I reckon you'll make the record this season though.

Edit: the oldest active player is Vince Carter at 39, so 40 might be difficult.

Bunch of ego-shooters in here. It's a team sport! Let everybody shoot once in a while - especially if they've got the best 3P% by far.

All star streak ends this year for me. Hobbers to break the record next season. Still 5 rings behind though.

Looks worse than it is. 4/5 last losses were pretty close.
