Glad you all like it, I quite enjoy writing it! Though I have to start forcing myself to do it a little bit at a time, instead of trying to sit down and write 23 summaries

Italy, England and Spain fully - Holland, France and Germany view only. That way I can still keep an eye on it if some of us end up in Holland, France or Germany (very likely some will go to Germany), and I can have stats like top scorer and awards for the big 3.
With hindsight, I should probably have included Scotland on view-only. It's unlikely we'll end up anywhere more obscure, at least not for more than half a season or two. We'll simply be too good. I suspect even the Rangers crowd won't stay there for very long.

A good point! In my worcester game a 35 year old guy i got on a free was playing in the Canada first team. I was in the lowest league possible at the time.
The next update might or might not be somewhat delayed. After the virus/malware scare of a few days ago, I've now got a blue screen of death scare. They're probably unrelated. Actually, what I think it is related to is the Net Framework I had to install to get the FM Real Time Editor to work. I'm installing drivers and shit now, so if I get it to work today the delay won't be big. If there's a hardware problem...

Maybe not every couple of days, but every few days, yeah. In a couple of weeks my school starts, though, and we'll start having big careers in the game. At that point the rate of updates might slow down a bit.

Heh, how things changed. 20 minutes ago I typed up a post saying I hadn't fixed the problem despite everything I had tried, and it might postpone the update by quite a bit. Then even that failed posting, for some reason, and my depression deepened.
Then I finally got around to installing IE7 and SP3 (needed the IE), thinking it couldn't hurt. It didn't. It seems to be the problem, though I'm still slightly scared to reboot my computer, in case it comes back again. After all, I don't really understand why my computer suddenly decided it really needed SP3 after all this time without it. If the problem had been a hardware issue, I'd at least be sure of it, and be able to fix it.

Anyway, the update will be somewhat delayed, considering I've done nothing but trying to fix my computer today (literally), but it'll still only be days.

It's been surprisingly good to me. Now I don't even have to have it horizontal to boot, which I've had to do for the last few weeks. The update won't be out until at least tomorrow though, on account of me spending all of yesterday driving for 5 hours, and then cleaning, and me spending all of today doing some more cleaning, and then moving "house" (student accommodations stuff).

The break from it all (computers in generally, really, the past few days) has gotten me back to being pretty excited about writing up updates. I'll try to churn them out a little faster for the next few updates
I'll do it on FM2008, if there's a way to just leave it to simulate without me having to mash continue a thousand times.

yes, just make yourself unemployed and go on a year long holiday, then return in time to make updates
