Fury continuing to show he's one of the most overrated HW's ever. And yes, I am going to die on this hill.

I think plenty agree with you. Me especially. His Wlad win was great, as is his return story.... but most of that is built on a trilogy against Wilder, who's quite frankly, utterly horrific.

Unbelievable. No one gave Ngannou a chance, yet he has put in a titanic performance. Doesn’t look out of place at all for a man who hasn’t been in the ring for nearly two years and never boxed professionally.

Just pure brute strength and a cast iron chin.

Fury looks out of ideas, cannot believe my eyes.

If the names were flipped, Fury would win to be fair. Ngannou's not been outclassed, but he's almost certainly not done remotely enough to pull off even a split decision on name value alone, which is where were at by round 8...literally insane really.

Got to give him his due for the Wilder performances, but apart from that and the Wlad fight, his CV is average. He's a sort of mythical fighter. Looks great in flashes but is not all that. Fools a lot of people.

This is genuinely horrific for Fury.... Ngannous was supposed to be gassing now and just won round 8, comfortably....

I read this twice and none of it makes sense to me.

If Fury was the MMA guy and Ngannou world champ boxer.... Ngannou would be winning like 7 rounds to 1 right now, plus the knockdown, and no one would bat an eyelid at it.

But we know name value and titles win rounds in boxing.
