Maloney just got ripped off in the undercard. I’ve never seen anything like it. The fight was stopped due to an accidental headbutt. The replay which they use in Nevada still took it away. There was no head clash at all

That was horrible... Commission needs calling out.

As expected, Crawford too fast too powerful.

If I was Brook I’d call it a day now hasn’t got it anymore

This might just be my heart talking over my head, but this is just the level of fight that could spark a fire in Brook. He's a top fighter, lest we forget, and while he's up against world class opposition of the highest order, it is in the realms of possibility that he pulls off an upset. He's fighting with no pressure at all.

Fighting GGG was a mistake - just stepped up too high. He boxed well, but it became obvious that GGG after feeling his punches at that weight, had no respect for Kell's punches, and he just began to stalk and brutally punish him. To go on straight against Spence after that punishment was an even bigger mistake. Could have taken some time to build himself back up.

His performances after that have been a mixed bag, but there'll be no lack of motivation here.
Famous last words!!! Crawford is next level

Now that Crawford is no longer with the Top Rank, maybe, just maybe we'll see him fighting a proper fkin opposition...

That GGG fight killed Brooks career stupid and unnecessary fight really.

It broke him, literally too. His confidence never recovered after that. It was a stupid fight to take.

I think that was the fight GGG even said Brook shouldn’t have taken it as he wasn’t big enough

Yeah exactly.

I think now we may get Khan vs Brook though nothing else for either of them to do that anyone cares about really.

I’d say Kell Brook whole career has been poorly planned, outside of Shawn Porter did he actually fight any credible threat until triple G and Spence Jr?. if you look back at his career retrospectively his Résumé it’s very poor for a fighter of his talent.

Yeah I've always thought the same. He was defending against nobodies with the title, frankie gavin was a farce and got him and hearn load of stick. I think they both did the GGG fight to get people off his back and keep his title if he lost, was a really stupid fight to take.

Brook was unlucky cause he never had a large fan base and was in a promotional stable with no other world level welterweights.

When Brook won the IBF title, Eddie should have made him defend it against more contenders / fringe contenders and paid them a little bit more to make the fight happen to help build Brook’s profile (Jessie Vargas is one that springs to mind that should have happened but Eddie wouldn’t fork out enough money). Eddie was never willing to invest in him to that extent.

Absolutely 100%. The problem was Hearn was OK to sign off on him Fighting dross. True, it’s unlucky for Brook that Khan ducked him and that he was #1 challenger for so long but Alexander got injured then he got injured and lost that fight but there were so many other opportunities that they botched. He should have been fighting Jesse Vargas in a unification but then went for the GGG fight as an example.

I’ve got to say the Moloney-Franco outcome sickened me. Russell Mora has no business refereeing title fights. He’s terrible and so biased. Remember when he let Abner Mares land over 100 low blows against Agbeko? Last night he made up a headbutt because the Mexican was gonna lose and it sickened me that it took 25 minutes to find a head butt that they couldn’t find but still called it a head butt anyway. That was all to protect Mora. They sacrificed Moloney, who worked his tail off to regain his title to protect a referee who just half-assed it. Think about that.

100%.
Watched the fight on YouTube this morning and had to check it wasn't April 1st.
Can't wait to hear what good podcasters like Michael Montero make of it. He's been criticising officiating for weeks and predicting someone is going to get royally screwed

Impressive shut out from Benn last night.
The guy he was up against clearly lacked any kind of power to trouble him but was resilient and made Benn put in the work.

With his father's name and matchroom behind him it's always going to be hype city but I saw a much improved fighter last night. Worked the jab really well and had great variation when he got up close. Keeps his left low so you'd have to wonder when he faces someone with power if he's gonna eat one too many counters.

Be interesting to see him step up, has he got that warrior spirit his dad had when up against it. I hope so as I do love a good story :)

He was decent considering he'd been out for 13 months.

He'll only go so far in my opinion but he's learning on the job and he's a 100% type of guy. He's still too easy to hit for me.

A fight against Josh Kelly (who i rate) is a potential cracker.

What do you make of Joshua v Pulev being £24.95 and Joshua v Fury expecting to be £30.00.

I’ve paid for these fights for years but am increasingly feeling am being priced out of them now, I mean £30 for a fight is just taking the piss even if it is a so called super fight.

Yeah once it went above £14.95 that was it for me especially with some of the shite that shouldn’t be PPV that nowadays is.

Honestly, I’ve given up with buying the PPV’s these days. The DAZN package they had for a little while was alright, but I don’t watch boxing that religiously to make it a full thing. Plenty of streams going these days to nab from somewhere for any fight I want to see.

Me and my mates usually get together and watch them, so its not really a problem chipping in together. But on the face of it, the public are basically paying the price because of the pandemic and the public not being allowed in stadiums. Even if they were in stadiums, I think it would've been £24.95 for the 'super fight'.

Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr are now not allowed to knock each other out when they share a ring for an exhibition bout on Saturday night.
The boxing legends, Tyson is 54 and Jones Jr 51, are stepping back into the ring but under a very different rule-set.
There will be no ringside judges, therefore, no winner will be announced for the bout which will be eight rounds of two minutes each.

Tyson and Jones Jr do not have to wear protective headgear but will wear 12oz gloves, bigger than the usual gloves worn in elite boxing.

If either man is cut, the bout is immediately over.

They each had to sign up to Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency testing beforehand.

UFC president Dana White's gave a baffled reaction to the rules set up by the California commission: "There's no knockouts? They're not allowed to knock each other out?

"How do you enforce that?"

Bit of a joke if you’re paying £19.95 to watch it, I can say I have absolutely no interest in this whatsoever but am sure a lot will tune in to see Tyson fight again.

Who you got? I’ve got mixed feelings but bet on Dudois rounds 1-4, wouldn’t be upset if Joyce wins though..
Dubois, I think he’s an absolute menace. Be interesting to see how he does if Joyce lands a few on him. What odds you get for that?
