The Reality Draft: Main Thread (Finals)

I think he's fine doing it - based on the PM's he sent

He was also happy with Dalglish :annoyed:

Hehe. Alright. Let him do it, then.

I'm not sorry to see a team featuring KKK and Souness go, to be perfectly honest. Good luck!

Didn't mean that. But do you want to continue the cooperative arrangement? I thought both of you did not want to be primaries but just agreed to step in to assist.

He's the primary because I don't have time to do the games - I'm just helping him with his picks.

I gathered that

I tried, anyway :(

Also I can understand KKK - Even as a Scotsman I'm not too fond of Kenny

But Souness was fantastic! I think he'll be fine, surely.

Don't actually see the difference as he will not be on for most of the time. Either by yourself or through PM's from MJJ, you are the one who will be here mostly, I presume.

Only for the next two or three days, until his internet is sorted.

They were great players, both of 'em - no doubt about that, as another great Scotsman would say.

What's yer vote on Sunday, man? *

* Speaking of Scots - I know it ain't the right forum and all.

I live in Manchester so can't vote - but it would be a very firm no, from me.

I've lived in England for a long time now and whilst I still consider myself Scottish, I don't have the level of patriotism others do - not that this applies to all of course, some people voting 'yes' are doing so for better reasons than patriotism.

Aye, I hope so. That is, I hope those who vote "yes" are doing so for more rational reasons than sheer patriotism.

If you complain after getting Mascherano, Neeskens and Henry in the randomizer, then you'd get a stick from me before we even begin letting you be at the mercy of anto.

I think the majority are, I probably shouldn't have even made that point - really what I was trying to say, is that personally whilst I consider myself Scottish, it's not to the degree in which that becomes incompatible with the concept of being a part of Britain. The culture in Scotland has held up pretty well really, when you go there you're thoroughly aware that you're in Scotland. But yeah, the rational reasons all seem to point to staying a part of the Union. I know myself that I've benefited from being in the Union - I suspect if we weren't then I wouldn't live in England right now, or have had access to the same career opportunities.

Never heard of any of these players. I'm going to have to do some research. Henry can play as a wingback - right?

Skizzo to pick.

Two questions:

1) Is playing Mascherano in CB suicidal?
2) Why is Beckham not a perfect fit as a right mid in a 4-3-3?

Mascherano is a mediocre CB at best, but an excellent specialist defensive midfielder. Beckham would work in that position. I'm wth Aldo though. You've got the makings of a really nice 4-4-2, especially now that you've got Junior as one of the best attacking full backs in the draft.

Bored, so looking at the teams so far. I have to say despite the hits I'm actually not too disheartened about my boys.

Then I bumped into this. How lucky can you get? @Raees didn't only avoid getting an unneded striker (which he would HAVE to play) but also got pretty much the best player available for his side. Not the best player, a cracker of a player who also happens to fit right in it, seamlessly.

Aye you're right there, said the same thing before. Fits like a glove.

Happened to come across my team eh?

All I see is great players. I've no idea how they would play together, but I trust you'll work it out.

I remember seeing that, but I was still trying to digest getting Raúl and not Stoichkov. The moment Rivaldo went all I could hope for was having that tactical/selection headache, may even have gone for a WM with Hristo upfront. I'm warming to Raúl though, just need a little help from Tevezbola and I'll be flying.
