It's Bolton though, they could field their "Elite Development Squad" and win comfortably.
 
Was having a good week until the Newcastle/Sunderland game. Sessegnon sent off Ba my captain because Silva didn't play misses a penalty and gets a yellow. I think the pair got me minus four points.

Anyway, great week to have 2 defenders and a goalkeeper from swansea, and have evans, valencia and Rooney :lol: :D
I've got 47 points currently, with Bale, Silva and Van Persie still to play, I have taylor from swansea and simpson from newcastle both ready to get subbed in (both got 6 points) because Williams and Ryan Taylor didn't play today. Valencia and Rooney should get some bonus as well, and Rooney is my captain. So I could be close to 70 points before even considering Bale, Silva and Van Persie's games. My record so far in one gameweek is 92, hopefully I can beat that.

Edit: Just seen in the OP that it's too late.. oh well :(
 
Had Valencia as my captain this week :drool: Had Sigurdsson too.
 
Why didn't Rooney get any bonus? Valencia only got 2, Evans got 1, who got the 3 points? I would think it would be Rooney because he got MotM after the game... but he didn't get it.
 
Hernandez got the three bonus points. I know he scored twice but that's a bit surprising.

I left Sigurdsson on the bench, ffs.

They have a panel that decide it. Yes, really.

I was also surprised Rooney picked up nothing for his performance. Seems like goalscorers always gets the double whammy of additional points.

Hmm, how does this affect an optimal selection though?

If you had to swap Aguero and Silva for another mid and a striker not exceeding their sum, who would you pick? I'm thinking Lampard and Drogba/Torres

Would worry about rotation with Chelsea players especially at Striker. I don't know if you have Valencia and Van Persie but they cost about the same.

I have Valencia, he is the best mid to have on the game in terms of value for money. I thought about Chelsea's rotation, then I realized, even though they are still in the CL, they might wanna cement their position in the competition next year. So I brought on Lampard and Torres.
 
feck me, thats about 4 weeks running I've missed the deadline. Not that I'm challenging for anything, just to finish strong in mid-table :D

What a disastrous gameweek, lost all the hard fought places I picked up over the last few weeks.

Also, left myself with only 10 eligible players for this week. Means I'll have at least an extra 5 for the double header in a couple of weeks though...
