The Real Caftards Fantasy League 2011/12

Cheers phil, I normally would wait becuase of injuries and the like, but players value also goes up based on how many people have selected said player. I suppose I could do my team immediately after the internationals to make sure I have the best chance of value being the same
 
I was going to buy Darren Bent a few weeks ago, just before the last international break, and I had just sufficient funds, but my mate said I should wait until after the internationals in case he got injured. His price went up 0.1M a few days later & I didn't have enough to buy him.

He ended up getting injured for a couple of weeks so it ended up not affecting me too much.

I brought in Agbonglahor as a stop gap & he's done really well. Can't decide whether to go for Bent now or find a midfielder who can score a few goals instead.
 
No Woodgate, no Nasri, no Taraadt, no Andersin, no Nzogbia and Rooney only playing 20 mins be lucky to get to 10 points today.
 
Just joined this league after a cracking week last week. Made an inspired decision to swap Rooney for Van Persie as captain. I wont be added to the league until next week mind you

We now have 100 people in the league and I think that is a good time to close entries for this season ...
 
Never make your changes on Wednesday; it will always conspire so that the player you've transferred in will get injured and you'll have to make another change on Saturday morning.
 
For fecks sake, why did I forget to move Aguero from the subs bench into the starting 11

fecking Jonny Evans got me -5 pts. Had him on first subs for last 5 weeks or so. Haven't needed him for ages when he's got 2-6 pts, but when he gets -5, he comes into my team.

Fortunately I forgot to change my team and left Silva as captain :nervous:
 
Ba :drool: I have Enrique and Scott Sinclair coming off the bench aswell since young and Tiote injured, will get about 60 points this week. would have being 29 only for that. saved me so they did!!

Not to brag... (or to do exactly that) but If I was in this league I would be top with 739 points...

However, annoyingly, I'm still second in the RedCafe newbie leagues behind Stephen87 (whose also now been promoted) as he's on 767 points.... bastard.
 
I'm not in this stupid league because the code would never work. Stupid game anyways.
 
Look for Rooney to have a good game against Villa. I finally got tired of him playing in midfield and dropped him from my team.
