Cena/Cody and Punk/Roman is too obvious, the latter should happen but Owen’s should definitely be beating Cody

They hven’t really mentioned the women’s rumble which has a lot of potential winners too if their some of their missing stars are coming back

I reckon it’ll be Roman in a “I e regained the ula fala, now I’ll regain my title” kind of thing, but with a Rock swerve thrown into the mix. Cena will be in the elimination chamber match trying to get to WM that way, they’re using him to advertise it too much for him not to be in it.
That’s what I had envisaged happening too but doubt it will now after what transpired with The Rock on Raw during it’s Netflix premiere with him acknowledging Roman after he beat Solo and before that him applauding and hugging it out with Cody.

I saw someone (and it might have been in here, so apologies to anyone who reads this and thinks “that was me”) suggest doing something similar with Cena to what they did with HBK when he was going after Undertaker.

HBK entered the Rumble, got near the end, and got eliminated. The following weeks he made a complete nuisance of himself and got the match against Undertaker anyway.

Obviously the difference there is HBK didn’t care about the title, he just wanted to face Undertaker, but they could always have Cena be a nearly man at the Rumble, and then win Elimination Chamber or somehow become number one contender to the other title.
I mentioned this elimination chamber prediction before and @Stevondo8 just did above that it makes perfect sense when you consider how much they are promoting this event with Cena’s face all over it. Cena to win the Chamber considering how much they are promoting that even as Cena’s final appearance there. He goes onto Mania from there and dethrones Gunther for the title at Mania.

Just seen Corbin got released due to some higher up not liking him.

Some bullshit and feck that guy, but he'll be back. As early as the rumble possibly id say.

Also hope cena doesn't win but he's favourite. There's a pretty easy story to tell if him being in the last 4 of the rumble and losing. Last two in the chamber and losing etc.

Wwe have done such a great job especially with the face side , that there are numerous potential winners for the rumble
It's not the obvious one or two this time

I've been wanting Cena to win the rumble and then dethrone gunter at mania and then go on a run until summerslam before dropping to somebody like Bron.
But interested to see how they deal with Roman in it too. I'm guessing Seth costs punk (maybe after he's already eliminated by punk)

Im also wondering which year they make rumble two nights

A two night rumble actually makes sense. Could even take it a step further and have an all male and all female nights. Two night SummerSlam is overkill imo.

Watching last night's SNME and i'm not sure if somebody told Jesse Ventura to constantly say the ref counted to 3 in the Sheamus match or he's genuinely being fecking stupid. I watched the count, the ref counted to 2 and pulled his hand away right before the third hit the mat, yet Jesse is acting like his hand hit the mat on the third.

Toni Storm is one of the few interesting personalities in AEW

"I'm going to rip your tits off" is something I couldn't imagine being said in a WWE ring

Dunno if anyones watching raw, but opening tag match was a banger.

JD accidentally turned face half way through

JD has suffered a broken ribs and a punctured lung. He really put his body on the line for our entertainment last night.

I've not been watching as much, but I love KO and think he's single handedly the best thing in the business.

Is there any chance of him beating Cody at the rumble? I can't take another Cody WM headliner.

It would be great if KO defeats cry baby Cody and then cheats to help Zayn win the rumble.

Then Zayn feels like he doesn't deserve it and gets pissed at KO who in turn gets pissed at Zayn for being so ungrateful and they go at it Wrestlemania.

I could imagine KO playing that role so well

KO being champion would definitely be preferable. Agree with you wholeheartedly.

Where we've lost the network, WWEs YouTube game has gone up. Have had docs, matches, live loops of ppvs all on YouTube past few days. Constant royal rumbles, constant takeovers and look as if they're uploading all of the weekly NXTs too.

Watched a directors cut of the 2020 rumble the other day, added nothing but still a fun idea to do.

He’s been fantastic since he became heel after Bad Blood. I hope he does win but can’t see them taking the belt off Cody till most likely Mania or possibly even after that. He’s the face of the company and no way are they gonna make him lose the belt now with Mania just round the corner.

I think this is the issue, it's too predictable in how the cycles run and they need to shock the system a bit.

Long overdue. Surprised he hadn’t been inducted already.
Tbf he was as part of dx

You can’t watch that and not think we’re not far from a Cody heel run
I'll be very very surprised. He's been the new face.

Great promo. I love these kind of promos with the silent crowd but you know that they're completely engaged.
Surreal that they were two of aew best promos (although I still laugh both were hated for different reasons)

Don't see them purposely turning him heel but he needs to drop the title if he isn't going to change it up.

10 months is a long time to be the champion of pretend fighting. Being the face only really works if you're also the underdog

Go on then men’s rumble winner, gun to your head who do we think is winning it?

I feel like they’ve been trying to tell us Punk wins it which means he won’t. Everyone been trashing Cena so he’s got a shot.

Biggest twist would be Rock winning it but get the feeling he ain’t doing Mania.

It’s genuinely hard to predict and a road to WM that is actually unpredictable.

If I had £20 I never wanted to see again, I would put it on Seth Rollins.
