See? He's still 16.

Got the 2001 Royal Rumble on as background tv...K-Kwik has just come out, except its not K-Kwik, its R-Truth. He doesn't even look any younger!

I had no idea he'd been about that long. He must be in his 50s?

This is my uninteresting pointless post for the day.
I remember when he made his debut - was part of a tag team of him & Road Dogg (can’t remember what they were called). I was in Primary school then when he made he started back then.

Apparently he’s 52 & will be 53 at the end of the month. Madness but massive fair play to him that he’s kept himself in a very good physical shape.

I have two complaints that not many will agree with, I think:
1 - Pat Mcafee annoys the feck out of me and should be fired
2 - Gunther is such a boring person that he should never be champion because he provides 0 entertainment.

Truth is as old now as Ric Flair was when he was the borderline geriatric elder mentor of Evolution in 2002.

In fairness to flair he could still go in the ring at that age and taking bumps from Lesnar and Goldberg like he was still in his 20s

Lashley has been going a long ass time aswell and is somehow still 300 pounds of muscle without a shred of fat and no titty sag

I can't remember whether it was 2002 to 2003, or 2003 to 2004, but there was definitely a jump between years where he suddenly went from looking alright and still being able to move, to looking someone's elderly uncle had accidentally found his way to the ring in his underpants.

He's older than The Rock, which is mental when you think his childhood hero was John Cena

I might be talking nonsense here, but I swear when he was in TNA as Ron Killings, he did a lot of “shoot” interviews disparaging John Cena and the WWE.

I know that means nothing and WWE tend to forgive and forget (see CM Punk for example), but it just popped into my head reading this.

Corey Graves is apparently really pissed off about being moved to NXT, so much so that he tweeted about it and then wasn't at the show, although he might not have actually been on it or they pulled him after his tweets. I'd be pissed too if I had to give up my spot for that bum McAfee.

feck him quite honestly.

I hate neck tattoos he can disappear from the tv.

I got a slight suspicion that it's a work and he's soon to return as a wrestler (maybe at the Rumble?). Apparently he was cleared for an in-ring return a year or so back.

Thought Raw was better this week. Apart from the main event. They've basically killed all of their longer running storylines off on the last two Raw episodes, and none of them really got the match they deserved.

Best match on the last two Raws imo was Penta vs Gable

So both companies are giving us the “one last run” gimmick in 2025, WWE with Cena and AEW with Jeff Jarrett

WWE and TNA working together is my one day. 11 year old me is loving it.

Pretty stacked looking Royal Rumble this year in terms of potential winners.

Cena, Reigns, Punk, Drew, Seth, Joe Hendry, Pat McAfee probably for some reason...

It’s actually one of the better built Rumbles in quite a while. There’s a few winners that really wouldn’t surprise you rather than a clear cut winner which makes it so much more fun. Even the Sami promo on Raw really made you believe he had the tiniest chance of winning especially with his history with Gunther.

I agree. It’s a stacked rumble with a lot of potential winners on there for sure.

Still think it’s going to be Cena even though I’d rather it not be.

I reckon it’ll be Roman in a “I e regained the ula fala, now I’ll regain my title” kind of thing, but with a Rock swerve thrown into the mix. Cena will be in the elimination chamber match trying to get to WM that way, they’re using him to advertise it too much for him not to be in it.

I saw someone (and it might have been in here, so apologies to anyone who reads this and thinks “that was me”) suggest doing something similar with Cena to what they did with HBK when he was going after Undertaker.

HBK entered the Rumble, got near the end, and got eliminated. The following weeks he made a complete nuisance of himself and got the match against Undertaker anyway.

Obviously the difference there is HBK didn’t care about the title, he just wanted to face Undertaker, but they could always have Cena be a nearly man at the Rumble, and then win Elimination Chamber or somehow become number one contender to the other title.

Do that through the year, and then he gets a title shot in December and loses. After losing all year ideally.

Basically, I am glad this is his last year.
