JWP isn't good enough for United and we shouldn't add more deadwoods. He's just a player that has good work rate and world class set piece taker because he can cross and shoot. But he's not press resistant, no composure on the ball, below average tackler, he has no flair or dribbling skills, and his passing ain't that good..
Shit, you just described a player we haven't had in a team for years.
The man has better work rate and attitude then 99% of our players, bar Bruno.
His set pieces are probably in the 1% of best in the world.
Those two alone make him an ideal player to look for.
He averages around 9 goals per season, which we're badly lacking from our midfielders.
He's 28.
He's fecking good, don't kid yourself. Miles better then Fred or Scott, and on his day, he's on par with an ageing Casemiro and Eriksen.
