From what I've played, then, The Order's combat is perfectly serviceable but also forgettable. Having a seamless filmic experience, or whatever you want to call it, is all well and good, but The Order is a third-person shooter at its core, and right now there's nothing about the combat that grabs you by the scruff of the neck and demands you play more. For all the visual effects on show, the shooting lacks spark.

This is when the demo of The Order: 1886 ended -- approximately five minutes after it began. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed -- not in what I saw, that was mostly great, but in that I couldn't spend more time with it. The cinematic approach to visuals looked fantastic in practice, and it seems as if the technology-driven weaponry will be a real treat to use. However, five minutes is a tiny sample size, especially for a game with this kind of potential. Hopefully next time we see The Order: 1886, it's more than just an appetizer.

It's not terribly original, and the weapon's vast power is a cause for concern, but it is enjoyable. Why? Because it's tightly rendered and convincingly paced. Also, I like Galahad. He may seem like yet another nerd culture heroic archetype, but he displays an old fashioned, sweaty, hairy Victorian masculinity that I find stirring.

You've lead me to believe it's Last Guardian so I'll be disappointed if it's not.
 
I've told you, SCEE and SCEJ. The Order is SCEA, they done goofed, all they really have is TLOU remaster.

San Diego just released MLB The Show and Sucker Punch just release ISS. What have we got ATM for PS4 and what have we got that is 1st party? Big games I'm talking....

I don't understand that? What are the top 2 exactly? Ps plus is all consoles so what are those? Discounted? Free for what? :/ also what is the ps4 one? I'm confused. Looks pretty disappointing compared to peoples expectations mind.

Expecting something announced at E3 for new additions to the Instant Game Collection, looks like Knack will be part of it if rumours are true.

Knack :/ suppose it's the only way I'd play it, plus it is a proper game too. Watchdogs it is till then!
 
Is that the only way? and if so do you know any that mail codes out instantly?

Edit: I can't be arsed... I'm sure I'll find a copy in the stores at a decent price (WD) - Impulse buy averted...
 
I believe that you require a credit/debit card with a US address to buy from the store. Buying a code online is the only way I know to get around it.

The people who sell US codes on Ebay will happily email it to you as soon as you pay. Sadly, I don't have any names.
 
Yeah I gave up, wasted 20 mins on PSN/Amazon/EBay...

To be honest I should be ploughing through my backlog before I start thinking about buying more games...
 
I can recall someone telling me that Ebay have/had a problem with the selling of digital codes, so very few sellers publicly mention that they will send the code by email. However, if you ask one they will tell you.
 
I found tons, It was working out to be around £40+ so I figured I'd pop into Tesco and pick up a hard copy for £44...possibly.
 
Nope, I decided that owning every f*cking console under the sun and having a huge backlog was enough to be getting on with.

A friend has bought it. I'll borrow it at some point.
 
Is that a suggestion or does it actually work? If it's that simple I will be irked.
