20le, I'm not sure I will be available tomorrow night unfortunately. If you can, we might play today, there's 50/50 that I will be able to play tomorrow, from then on every time is fine.
 
It was a great game, God how I celebrated that second goal only to concede a winner in less than a minute because of spastic defending. :lol: Had some chances to get more goals but so did you, I feel bad about not going 2-0 up when I had a chance because at 1-0 there was always going to be immense pressure, and as I said I cannot play when I'm down - showed that both at 2-1 and 3-2.

3-2 to 20le and he's in the final. Guess I'm going to fight for that 360 tournament now. :P

It was a great game, i knew i was going to regret the 1 on 1 miss, even the penalty i should of smashed in. Great game though. I knew you were going to get an equaliser tbh lol, Great game nevertheless. Abit cagey in the first half but the second i played with freedom, what formation were you playing?

4-3-3, Udinese are really comfortable with that, I hardly allowed you any space in the first half but got tired and my players messed up positioning in the second half for some reason. The only downside of this is that you have to re-setup the entire team in 40 seconds before the game, I struggled with that but just managed to do so. :lol: I should have probably gone defensive after I scored to make it 1-0 but it's not really my game, I tried to get the second and it backfired. Second goal was a bit unlucky as well, I tried to boot the ball away and instead the defender put it in front of your striker who had an open goal. I would have conceded a goal sooner or later anyway as you were putting a lot of pressure in the second half. What I was thinking for the third goal I don't know though. It was obvious the moment I give you space you'd score, so I tried to keep as much pressure as possible but forgot that in the most important moment of the game. :lol:

:lol: i had no space in the first half, the second half was open as hell! The second goal was lucky though, oh well. good game mate
 
I don't think either of us kept possession for more than five seconds in the first half, I was just trying to put Denis one on one and it worked once, I should have probably gone less down the wings and more down the middle in the second half.

I'm looking forward to playing you again in the league I'm about to start once this one is over. I will probably start subscriptions for the league soon, hoping to find 16 to 20 players.
 
A league? Count me in in your preliminary list, Sarni ;)

Encountering you big dogs on this forum is helping me hone my skills.
 
Don't know, I'm not a mod nor I know any of them. If you speak to one of them, then yes, it probably will guarantee a tagline but I can't promise.

League will be cool, we're playing a league on 360 currently and it's going great. I will adapt some of Sweet's rules because it really is a cracker of a competition. I count you both in, I guess most of people participating here will be in for that. It will be a long tournament, don't know if it's going to be one or two games between each participants, I would go for two but that will create an issue as it will be very long if it has 16 to 20 participants and it will be hard to get all the games played in time - will have to work something out.
 
I will make another thread for subscriptions now seeing as demand seems to be high. :smirk:
 
Isn't a league also easier to manage because they have the friends league thingie as an online feature?

Not sure how it works as I've never tried, don't think it will work with rules I am creating for this but will be worth a try nevertheless. If it doesn't work then I will run it myself, there will be a separate thread for results so I can keep track of them easier.
 
I get too easily found out every time I play online because I always have to get used to the lag with the manual passing. When competing against good opponents it always costs me.

4-1 for RonaldoVII a bit flattering although not undeserved. A game of two halfs for me.

Had what, one shot in the first half? That was a decent chance though. Exactly like the three goals you scored with Cavani:)

Disappointing at scoring only one. You don't miss many chances do you? How do you configure your controls?

Yeah, agree it was flattering. My first two goals didn't seem like chances at all. I couldn't get through the middle so was fortunate the crosses were going my way. 2nd half you were well on top and once it was 3-1 I expected you to get back in it as you were close to getting in behind often. Stoppage time goal was just a scramble.

My controls are just default I think.
 
I'm curious to see if people play with manual or not. I've played it for a long time and it's finally not a disadvantage I feel when playing offline. But online it's laggy and the power matters a lot with each pass so I'm considering to change it to semi.

Any manual guys out there who are used to playing online who have some tips?

I used to play manual and as you have, I too "got good" at it, so to speak. Thing is though it's very hard to get used to it online and because virtually no one does the manual "thing", I just went back to default controls. Less hassle, but yes unfortunately it means not playing manual.

Yea I thought so. My pass rating was way worse then every opponent I played. Which sucked because it's so much more fun on manual as you control everything you do as much as you can in a football game.

For people who don't use manual at all I recommend you switch you lob passes to manual. It's a new ball game. Can make a satisfying Scholesesque pass that you just can't do otherwise.
