God David Brent is an amazing character.
So far I'm a bit mixed on this season. Michael's gone from being an idiot to being an asshole(from screwing over Jim to dumping Pam's mom on her birthday). The antics of Dwight and Andy though are fecking brilliant though.
The scene where Toby's teaching Pam how to punch with Michael in the background is brilliant.
Yeah Dwight is great easily the best character, gotta love the 'Nard dog too. Michael was actually a real asshole the first season I remember too

Season 3 is the best season, although I enjoyed last season alot as well... The development of characters starts to slow down in season 5 and you know what to expect, but then you still get shocks and twists here and there.

I love the episode (2nd season I think) when he gets a concussion and steals Michaels "That's what she said" catchphrase.
I'm not enjoying the new season to be honest. The standards have dropped hugely.

So, just watched through the first four seasons of the US series and I absolutely love it so far. It just edges the UK version for me. Ricky Gervais is a hell of a lot funnier than Steve Carell though. Is the fifth season any good? I'm only waiting for the download to finish.

Yep took Thanksgiving off sadly although I wouldnt have watched anyway, the thing that pisses me off is that all the shows did last week whether they were on Thursday or not
