Neymar to PSG.
Neymar to PSG.
Neymar to PSG.
Giz this weekends lotto numbers?
Put a tenner on Neymar to City in 2019 for the next world record.
This in my view is a one-off transfer. This record may not be broken for quite some time but we will be familiar with transfers of more than 100 million.
Neymar to PSG.
Usain Bolt to United...
Get it??? Because he holds world records?!![]()
Perfect.Neymar to PSG.
WowNeymar to PSG.
Indeed. As has been pointed out, technically the money was paid to trigger the release clause; it was not a transfer feeI don't know but if we look at it, Neymar joined PSG on a free because he was a free agent.
Neymar bought himself out of his contract (with the money from Qatar). So technically this isn't a world record transfer imo

So did we sign Ander Herrera as a free agent? Was Javi Martinez not Bayern's transfer record until this summer?I don't know but if we look at it, Neymar joined PSG on a free because he was a free agent.

Well called, be sure to be really conservative in your future predictions and you can become a legendNeymar to PSG.
I honestly dont think it will, it's a unique set of circumstances that led to the figures of this deal, there may be some sort of fall out and in any case I dont see football inflation carrying on how it has been of late. City have the ability to smash it if they want to though. Will it ever be broken again?

Damn.Rayane Bounida to United - summer 2028 - £400M
I believe Neymar's transfer record will remain unbroken for a long time. As Arsene Wenger once predicted, football is gradually adopting an NBA-style model, where clubs prefer to wait for players' contracts to expire rather than paying exorbitant transfer fees. Instead, they offer massive signing-on bonuses and higher wages to secure top talent. With FFP regulations tightening, clubs can no longer spend excessively without facing consequences. Moreover, players have realized that by running down their contracts, they can maximize their earnings through lucrative signing bonuses and salaries. Beyond financial factors, there is currently no player in world football who truly justifies a transfer fee exceeding €222 million. Until a generational talent emerges or the transfer market undergoes a drastic shift, Neymar's record is likely to stand for the foreseeable future.
Didn’t Neymar go for £200m? There’s no way Barcelona would reject more than that for Yamal considering their current financial stateI think there are clubs that would sanction a record fee for Yamal, it’s just that Barca wouldn’t accept it.
