The New low (I.) Q. Republicans and Ted Cruz

If you want to read about a brave US congressperson getting shot, check out the story of Jackie Speier.
Insane story, especially with how long she & the others had to endure the bullet wounds until help arrived. It almost was a full day.

The lobbyist I worked for was moaning about her in a meeting once and making sexist jokes and I really wanted to come out with how brave she was at that time but the fecker was my boss so I kept schtum.

Lobbyist, eh? I’ll bet you have some more salacious stories past this one.

Love how the cnut couches his statements by using the eight years of the Obama WH & conveniently overlooks the most partisan DOJ since Nixon...

I've no idea what the penalty/repercussion is for saying something slanderous before Congress, but would probably be worth the result and internet immortality for telling Ted Cruz to "feck off, ya Grandpa Munster lookin' cnut, with yer "I'm 40! I have a beard" self. Get back to bootlicking Trump's ass, despite him calling your wife ugly and your dad an assassin, and spare us the diatribe. Or, perhaps take another vacation while your constituents freeze and die of dehydration and hypothermia, ya shitstain on humanity."

Definition of Slander: "the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation. "

Can't be slander if it's true, so you should be good.

A couple of days old, but pertinent. Brianna is rather compellingly attractive - her chill, her style, her looks, all very on point...

I'm pretty glad in the post Trump world, normal scandals are a thing again as Teflon Don would escape scandal after scandal and his tweets normalized abnormal but Ted Cruz Azul has brought us back to earth.

Yeah, I agree, but let's see what happens to Ted first before we celebrate any kind of normality. A few years ago Ted would have been forced to resign by now. The fact Cancungate moved to the story of him leaving his dog at home, to him then blaming the green new deal and going on Hannity saying he was just dropping his kids off, to him now buying his own books shows he's following Trumps playbook, and everyone else seems to be too.

Unless he is held accountable and is forced to resign then I can't see how much has changed.

She surely hates his **** arse after the Trump comments about her and him bending the knee.

Maybe? I interacted with some of those "conservative christian evangelical" couples down in Bama and some of those marriages had a weird "god says I need to be subservient to my husband" vibes going on. We had a guy in our lab in grad school who told us that although he believed he and his wife were equal partners, the bible said that she should defer to him in matters of importance. Insane.

These two seem like an opportunistic dour couple rather than handmaid tale protagonists.

The opposite. Both attractive and exceptionally outgoing. He eventually got his PhD and she was a lawyer. Quit her job once they had kids. Lost track of them over the years.

You do realize I was referring to the (can)Cruzes, right ?

That moment at 13s where you can see McCarthy's will to live leave his body

What a worthless piece of shit. Amazing how thumpers like this champion science when it comports to their fairytale...
