The New Kits Thread

Didn't someone high up at Chevrolet get sacked because the initial deal only stipulated that the word should appear on the kit and not the logo? Chevrolet had to renegotiate or something.
That would be stupid to sack him considering it's a good idea. I sure as hell hope we don't have the logo, because I don't think it's possible to have the kit look nice with that big thing right through the middle. Maybe if they have a mini logo thing right where the nike swoosh is and have that on the sleeves or something... I don't know.

Chevrolet don't give a toss if it looks nice, they want the biggest, most noticable logo possible.

All those kits look fecking awful.

They look like the shirt of some sort of soulless americanised amalgamation of several sports that's played in the future.

The Chevrolet sponsor is awful, I've always thought it was awful but only now I've seen it on a Utd jersey do I realize just how awful it really is, and that is very awful.

Would it be the one with the gold inside the Chevrolet logo, or just the white cross? Cos just the white cross makes it look slighty less awful, but still awful nonetheless.

Agreed. Does anyone know? That gold logo is ghastly and what's with those pointless black flashes on the shoulders?

That is just awful, even without the Chevrolet logo the design is disgusting.

It's not even just the logo, it's all the fecking little added pointless flourishes they squiggle onto every kit just to legitimise needing a new kit. Why is the collar in those pics down to the belly button for example? Which footballers need the crucial option of easier chest exposure? And why has it got patches on the shoulders!? THE SHOULDERS FFS!?

All you ever need is something like this.

Instead you get this.

The flames make you go faster.
That's good, speed isn't my forte, it'll make me a different player!

Mannequin's are strip teasing now?
 So kinky

The Puma shirts are really tight, but I really like them. We bought some for my footy team, they look really good and the fabric is actually nice to wear.

Wow that United shirt is absolutely awful.

Compared to the Roma shirt for the 14/15 season it's like looking at a Liverpool alternate kit!

Chevrolet logo has to be one of the ugliest around. Shirts are going to be awful, definitely won't be buying any.

 Mockneys United shirt. Be careful you're not giving them ideas. If it looks exactly like that someone should hunt him down.

There goes the revenue stream from kit sales. That is horrible, if true.

Said that about the table cloth too, said it about this seasons kits, they'll sell just fine, they always do.
I don't know..that thing takes the biscuit in ugliness levels. The table cloth wasn't as bad as people made out. This seasons kit is really nice too.

I've never personally said a kit is hideous, but I don't think I could even contemplate wearing that thing if it became the official kit. Child abuse if any parents are sticking them on their kids too.

United fans hate on every United shirt there's been. It's the yearly tradition. The only shirts e like are the ones we don't have any more. Then the shirts that were shit suddenly become the benchmark for the newer ones; all of which are inevitably seen as shit.

07/08-08/09 was very nice though and I think that was/is a consensus amongst United supporters. Last years white shirt was outstanding too.
