Maybe I'm being ignorant, but I really think this type of comedy can't be reimagined for the audience of today. It's of its day and that's that. It'll be terrible I'm sure.

I was just being scarcastic, of course I've seen it and it's hilarious.
I don't even know either, but I don't think remaking Naked Gun, Monty Python, Blackadder, Bottom, Father Ted, Only Fools and Horses or other things I'd put in a somewhat similar comedy bracket is going to work. Maybe it will, but I just find it difficult to envision.
Surely we can all at least agree the expectation is this will be awful?
