I think everyone feels his time is up except the board.
Please let me make it clear I am no fan of Lukaku .I was gutted when we bought him and have never thought of him as a fit for United.I would be delighted if we sold him on
.The problem is I don’t think we can rely on Rashford to replace him , he has proven time after time that he is not a natural finisher and I don’t think he will ever be the 30 goals a season striker that we need .
Like Martial he is better cutting in from wide areas .
I’m just sick of people saying he must play at CF or he will go
, he is not a CF for gods sake why can’t people see that .
And I wanted us to not win yesterday so we maybe able to get rid of him earlier. However, with us progressing, I can still see him being in charge for the knockout stages!

He was at the England squad last month I think presenting something, looked in good spirits. Hasnt been seen at OT this season.I havent seen him in a game in a very long time.
Come to think of it, we hardly see him doing any United related work, although I do stand corrected.
Tbf, I did add at the bottom of that statement that that was not the only good thing he had to do.The main reason Klopp, like Poch & Guardiola, get a lot of goodwill is because of the way they play, not behave. I cannot stand Klopp by the way but like his playing style. As Mourinho hates an expansive entertaining style he is hardly going to gain any goodwill.
He isnt missing out on much tbh.He was at the England squad last month I think presenting something, looked in good spirits. Hasnt been seen at OT this season.

Sorry it was October on his 81st birthday
Is there anyone in here who still wants Mourinho to be our manager in 2019? I'm genuinely interested to hear from anyone, not trying to be provocative.

He was adamant about not wanting Mourinho. So much so that he even went to record about it.

This shit is doing the rounds, by the Jose apologists:
What they fail to mention is that SAF is angry because he knows Ronaldo is much better than that & has let himself down with a poor shot.
Jose is doing a 'I knew you were shit and you just proved it' shake of the head.
He also said he'll never play players out of position; he also said he was happy with his attacking force, he also said he came here to win big trophies and he will make no excuses; he also said, ....Jose out, Jose in, it's all debatable. However, for me, Jose has never said anything but the truth. Said we would have a tough season, it has been one. Said we needed a new CB, and we do. Said some players lack maturity, and they do. Said pundits have it easy and should try the managers bench before criticising, and well all know that's true (and it's odd how ex-players who haven't worked with him heavily criticise, yet those who have say he is one of the best [Lampard, Drogba, Cole, Zlatan, even Hazard came out recently and said he'd like to work with him again, which is odd considering most fans on here think he can't man manage).
Like him or not, he's always spoken the truth. Maybe fans can't handle the truth.

No I’m not?You are comparing a player in his prime to the same player past his prime.
That’s trueYou know shit is bad when folks start talking about missing LVG!
Yeah, agreed. The irony is that with Mourinho we're definitely not getting Champions League football next season, and that might affect transfers in the summer, and it might affect some players leaving that we don't want to leave. With a new manager and a positive change in the club, we might actually wake up and have a fighting shot at getting top 4. In that sense, it's probably the safer option to sack him and have Carrick be interim or something. Anything. Just my opinion.I have yet to hear a convincing argument on here. The “best” argument is that the club’s preferred option might not be available right now so maybe it’s better to stick it out until the end of the season rather than appoint a caretaker. The other arguments are more pleas for mitigation, namely that the club has deeper structural problems that will not be solved by merely changing manager. But, obvious WUMs aside, I have yet to hear anyone plausibly claim that Mourinho should lead us into the 2019-2020 season.
No I’m not?
The original poster was basically saying no top 8 club would buy a player like Matic, inferring he’s too much of a clunker for the big teams to bother with. I’m merely pointing out that’s obviously not true.
Spot on. SAF is untouchable, and rightly so.What's the fecking deal with Samuel Luckhurst anyway? feck off with the Fergie bashing. The man can take a shit on the touchline and we'll say it's fine bceause it's Fergie for feck sake. Mou just doesn't have that sort of purchase with us and rightly so.

That’s true
Maybe we’ll see that kinderbueno chap back as well
Yes 28% of the voters in the poll.
I get what you’re trying to say but that wasn’t what he was arguing. He implied that Matic and the fact he’s a massive lump would exclude him from the very top teams which are full of technically proficient midgets. I’m merely saying that isn’t the case. Are you being deliberately obtuse?
No top 8 team would buy him NOW, in the past, when he was like, good, yes they did, but even then, Chelsea did not like him first time round and only in his prime years did they buy him back. He had 1 good season with us, before his current decline, Chelsea saw the writing on the wall and got rid for a handy price.
I don't even understand what this argument is about.
Well now is the right time to get rid of him. we are through to the knockout stages and a new manager might improve us and bring in the right players in January.
I don't see many actually defending him on here though, I feel like a lot of those are people who voted a long time ago and either don't visit the forum that often or simply have forgotten to change their vote.Yes 28% of the voters in the poll.

You’re not doing yourself any favors here mate.
Spot on. SAF is untouchable, and rightly so.
I wonder how those players that downed tools and ignored his coaching methods feel now?You know shit is bad when folks start talking about missing LVG!
