45 mins against Newcastle proved me one thing. Jose is the last one who should go. Players betrayed club. Players guys and girls, not manager. When players deliberately losing match of our club they should be all sacked. But it doesn't work like that unfortunately.
lolno

He's playing McTominay at CB, even though Bailly & Lindelof are fully fit (both players he bought)
How is that not betrayal?

It convinces me more than ever than he should be the first one to go, closely followed by the following
Bailly
Matic
Young
Rashford
Martial

Why is this even a question at this point?

Fellaini is/was a very good player, but has got pelters over the years because he was a symbol of the Moyes tenure.

Rooney was a very good player (even towards the end), but got pelters because he was a symbol of the LvG tenure.

I feel sorry for McTomminay. He's going to get a lot of hate on this forum.
I disagree with all 3 points.

Fellaini got pelters because, whenever he was on the field, we were playing hoof ball for the most part.

Rooney got pelters because he turned into an atrocious player who was still somehow a starter here.

Scott isn't really getting pelters. We're jsut saying he isn't, and never will be good enough. Hopefully he'll have a decent career elsewhere like plenty of our academy graduates, though.

What the players are doing tonight is a fecking disgrace, but to quote Marcus Aurelius from Gladiator: Their failing as players, is Mou's failing as a coach.

Apparently it's the players throwing the game away while the manager plays a midfielder (who shouldn't even be on the pitch) in defense while he's got his own 30m defender on the bench

So the worst guys on the pitch with Martial are Matic, Young and McTominay. Safe to say these are guys he trusts. Are they also throwing the game? The manager has sucked the life out of each and every one of them.

Did he say that?

God that film was good

He really wants that 20+m severance package, doesn't he?

Just keep him around as a mascot. Pay him for the next 18 months of his contract to just sit on the bench like a twat while we have someone managing us. It'll be worth it

I agree actually two of Jose’s captains in matic and young are worst offenders imo

Bailey is awful martial is gutless and for 80m Lukaku is awful.

For all pogba circus he is trying to get on the ball and play

Shaw and rashford have shown some heart but little quality

Smelling still our best center back says it all and he simply cannot put a ball in front of a teammate

Mata not good enough for us a little hustle and bustle

I agree, they are throwing this match to get the manager the sack.

His decision to continue playing McTominay at CB alone is a sackable offence.

The fact that he starts McTominay, a player barely of Championship quality ahead of, well anyone (including his 50m MF signing Fred) and then subs in a AMF for Baily and then puts McTominay as a CB...its beyond stupid. The football is Moyes levels of bad and he regularly throws his own players under the bus to save his own arse

I supported Mouhrino 100% for two years, and he was the one i wanted after Fergie retired, but it is clear the man is done as a top level manager. If we finish 10th with Carrick as a caretaker this season it is fine. Just get this man out of the club

 I wouldn't be against that. Although he knows that after this fiasco, his career is finish for any other top club.

So its not the managers job to unite the players and have them well drilled on there jobs? Its not managers job to pick players for this club to take us forward, because as of right now most of his purchased players are on the bench as hes turned them into a shadow of themselves from what they were like at there previous clubs.

Jose has been the same for 6 years. Not just at his time at UTD.!

Errm... well, yeah.

But I think this is more to do with his ego/legacy. He's creating an excuse to justify his 'Special One' moniker. That's more important to him than anything. "Respect", as he said, is what it's all about.

Is that the worst half of football we've played since Fergie retired? I honestly cannot remember anything worse. Looks like a bunch of players who have never played together without anyone managing them. When is Scott McTominay at center back ever the answer?

I don't believe for a second that Mourinho has lost his mojo, but there's really no point keeping him now. This is beyond repair.

But unless we also either get rid of Woodward, or get a DoF that is actually trusted with footballing decisions, I'm confident that Mourinho is gonna win big trophies again long before Man Utd does. Sad days.

I think he tells Commodus: Your failing as a son,is my failing as a father.

But he was obviously talking about Mou and United.
Yes....but he was a proud man who had just placed his resources elsewhere (imperial domination). Plus he was genuinely remorseful.
Jose, on the other hand, is just a cnut

So ALL of our players aren't worthy? The english ones, the foreign ones, the ones bought by Mourinho, and the ones bought by Fergie, the older ones, the youngest ones, the top quality talents, the decent players?

The team is dead. It's the culmination of Mourinho's work.

And he deserves it - because Ed Woodward extended his contract last season, mid season.

He will get it. Much as the Glazers may chafe at parting with 20 million, the cost of relegation will be higher, which is a likely possibility as we are basically 15/16 Chelsea in Red at the moment.

I can't wait when they decide that next manager is not good also

Thought WestHam was bad but were getting worse every game. He's waiting for the push now.

Spot on post.

Well, if we appoint badly again and he does as bad as Moyes, LVG and Mourinho, it will be correct.

Do you honestly not think these players and this squad can and should be doing a whole lot better? Not Man City better - but a lot better than what we've been seeing?
