These are fundamental errors we're seeing - a manager can only do so much. I'm by no means a Mourinho apologist, but he's getting shafted by his players. He's now untenable, but looking beyond that, a number of these players should be, too.

Chris Smalling isnt Franco Baresi, but he's much better than what he's been showing. He's so much poorer under Mourinho's management.

I don't like Mourinho, but the players purposefully under-performing is unacceptable. I believe that is what is happening at this point.
