Probably on my own here but who is this guy? That's all I care about from the Vid

Not sure, but if you watch the full 2min conversation it appears badass guy, Jose and Pogba are in discussion with each other. So it seems like whatever the argument is about is to do with that fella.

If Jose stays we won’t get top four. No chance. If he goes, we have a strong chance as the players will be motivated and the style of play can’t get any worse than it currently is. It’s a no brainer.
Maybe we will become better or maybe not. To think that our 4 CBs will become a better unit once Jose leaves is somewhat unconvincing for me.
I don't think it is a no brainer.

What happens in the video? I can't get it to work.

Pogba runs on, greets the coaches with a shake. Gives Mourinho one too apparently and then walks off. Jose says something and Pogba looks a bit baffled. They look like they're trying to keep it subtle but it goes out the window as Pogba uses his arms to express himself whilst Jose just mumbled with his hands by his side.

That's about it.

Well - a manager that doesn't have the defence on the back foot by making the team play counter attack allows the team to hold on to the ball more; making the defence more reactionary at times of the game than having them to be steady all the time.

The way this club is now run, Zidane will find a new job and only then will the board decide to sack Mourinho.

  • Pogba shakes hands with Carrick
  • Shakes hands with Jose
  • Shakes hands with mystery badass guy (at this point Jose says something to Pogba)
  • Pogba reacts badly, he's left stunned and he and mystery badass guy (mbg from now on) look at each other
  • Pogba walks off talking to himself (and probably Jose)
  • All three walk towards some of the squad
  • Pogba and Jose continues their discussion and mbg walks between them. Pogba points at two spots on the training ground.
  • Pogba and Jose both direct some of their conversation towards mbg and you can see he's talking back.
  • Video ends.
It's just the initial reaction from Pogba and the following 20 seconds that looks bad as Pogba reacts badly to whatever Jose said. It calms down after a minute or so.

Time for Paddy Power to get the Grim Reaper costume out again.
Time for the 'Top Red' fans to get their heads out of the clouds and accept that following medicority blindly does not make you a better supporter than someone who voices their disdain for the same.
Time for 75% of the Utd Squad to get a wake up call.
Time for 35% of the squad to be shipped off.
Time for someone with a footballing brain to be put in charge.
Time for someone that actually cares/likes Utd to be in charge.
Long, long past time for José to go. The man has been a rain cloud since day one, even on his sunny days.

If Saturdays fixture is anything less than a win i can honestly see some alarm bells going off at the top end of the club if they haven't already.

Thanks I just managed to watch it on Twitter.

No way the owners and Woodward allow this to continue. And no way will they let their most prized marketing asset leave.

Jose is finished, it's a matter of when and not if now.

MBG doesn't even have initials on his coat. That is how badass he is.

Mourinho is having a meltdown and if I had not seen this at numerous clubs from him before, I would be more inclined to blame pogba for his attitude.

Really don't think that there is any coming back from this and it'll only get worse. Best to cut our losses with him and run. We have a good squad and the season is still salvageable, but it won't be in a couple of months time.

Ahh well I hope its not about that, as that would just be moronic from Jose

The more I think about it, the more I think it's justified if Mourinho has the hump with this video. With all the shit in the press over the last weeks, this entitled cretin thinks it's a good idea to film himself pissing himself laughing while watching United being humiliated. Then share that footage with the world. What a fecking prat.

I would side with the manager normally but it looks a bit unprofessional for Jose to do that in front of the rest of the squad (never mind the cameras). I miss the days when the dressing room would have managed itself on this sort of thing, imagine Keane, Neville, Vidic in that squad right now. They'd be killing everyone.

That shite should be done behind closed doors. The seige mentality doesn't really work when the whole world can see you bickering on the training pitch.

So I guess Shaw and Pereira are prats too, or is it just Pogba.... Also was the video taken at the point we lost the game? During? This seems a little precious now.

I've no idea exactly when it was filmed. But if it was filmed when we were losing (or even when it was one all) then the prat would be the (former?) vice-captain who uploaded the fecking thing to Instagram. Not the two other lads he filmed.

The two of them both need to grow up, this childish game of chicken they are playing with each other is making United a laughing stock.
Airing your dirty laundry in public and all that, pair of drama queens.
Good point. Pogba should have made his "attack attack" comments privately to Jose rather than thru the media. On the other hand, Jose should stop making denigrating and demeaning comments about his players and should be more discreet with the timing, wording and medium of his inter-personal communications. His "you will never captain Man Utd again" and "I knew we were in trouble" comments, among many others before, are in bad taste and bound to create a frosty atmosphere in the dressing room.

Is there a reason why Jose Mourinho is manager of Manchester United now apart from the fact that "no one else is available"?

Because I am clutching at straws here, all we seem to have is his CV.

@Ramshock I saw you tearing into people for wanting Jose out last night, where do you stand on this? Why should Jose be given more time, can you see things vastly improving under him? Because it needs to be vast - we're awful.

He's not on the United Staff page and not in this years team photo either. Perhaps MGB is the one running the club in the shadows. He looks like the type.
Looks fairly new as I don't remember him at the club last year but he doesn't look like Rapetti. If he was one of the United Staff he'd be wearing one of the pink coats with his initials on instead. You might be right.

I remember Du Brun in the summer predicted that Mourinho will be gone by Christmas. Seemed like a huge shout at the time but now I'm not sure.

So Pogba shakes Jose's hand?

Now unless Jose has one of those comedy shock buzzer things in his hand and has just pranked Pogba, I don't really see how it goes from a handshake to Pogba being stunned or reacting badly.

Surely if the pair had issues, shaking hands would be something they avoided, and we know that Jose is well capable of shunning people.

To me it looks like Pogba avoids shaking Jose's hands & shakes the guy next to him. Maybe I didn't watch it properly.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement of ‘one of the best managers in the world”. It’s a nonsense reason too. Sticking with someone that clearly isn’t working hoping that it’s doesnt completely implode because they’re too cowardly to make the call.

I probably feel more embarrassed and frustrated than in Moyes and LvG times. Can't really explain that, as I believe we are still better than in Moyes days, but it all just feels like a catastrophe waiting to happen. Extremely sad, call me knee jerk but I want Jose out as soon as possible, before we get to his last Chelsea stunt levels.

I don’t understand the clamour for Zidane. Surely Pochettino would be a better fit if we decide to change the manager.

A lot of people predicted a Jose meltdown in his 3rd season, especially if you look at the summer we had. It is not rocket science, unless you believe evrything United related is bullshit and Jose is a long term manager

Zidane has experience of winning things, Poch doesn't.

I wouldn't mind either, but that's what Zidane has over Poch currently.

Watch the below video. You can clearly see Pogba move his arm up and down before giving a bro handshake to MBG.

This one runs up to 2 minutes. To be honest, there is nothing much in it without the backdrop of the ongoing feud between the two. Not every interaction on the training ground will be jokes and laughter.
