Predictions for tonight, anyone?

This event is so underappreciated for some reason. There isnt much hype around it and most of the main card fights are hard to call.

I often find the cards with lesser known fighters to have more good fights, atleast more fun to watch.
Not checked who's fighting tonight, though.

Agreed.

I tend to watch the 'star studded' events with a crowd of people, with plenty of alcohol etc and do not fully recall the fights the next day

These low key events I watch by myself and I usually enjoy them more.

UFC Moscow last week was expectedly boring for me. Tonight though, in Brazil, I'm expecting alot.

Renan Barao headlining the early prelims... How the mighty have fallen.

edit. Got worked on his featherweight debut, against another Bantamweight. I don't want to imagine what's gonna happen when a real FW puts his hands on him. Time to call it a day.

Really enjoyed that fight. Seriously though, the Brazilian dude is 41! I hope I’m that game in my 40’s

Its November 17th and the UFC don't seem to have scheduled any events beyond the third week of December. How strange.

Is there any of them big press conferences happening soon? Jones, McGregor and Khabib have all said they want to fight soon so I wouldn't be surprised if they had a big one and announced a few fights.

Last night was awful, the main event one of dullest fights I've seen

Yeah I didn't bother to watch it. Some cards are just incredibly dull on paper.

absolute turd of an event.

And has Renan Barao gotten so bad because of better drug testing or has he just nose-dived off a cliff because of wear and tear?

The absolute worst thing about Brazilian fighters is not knowing when to hang them up. The amount of post-career damage, quality and years they take off their lives by taking serious beatings way, way past their best is shocking.

overhyped, not well rounded enough, injured, whatever the reason or maybe a combination of all three, it didn't work out for him. He came into the UFC like a lion and left like a lamb. In fairness to him, he brought a bit of hype to the division when he came in, however, short lived it was. Hope he recovers from his injuries. I'd never seen him fight prior to the UFC but obviously had heard the hype. I have to assume we never saw the real Askren possibly due to his injuries. Even his 1st fight, I wasn't that impressed with him. He was out cold his last 2 fights, I think you have to respect a fighter when he listens to his body and knows it's time to step away.

Bukauskas defends his Cage Warriors LHW title, lethal elbows

Yeah good stuff. He was calling the UFC to pick him up in his post fight interview.

Definitely good chances for it to happen. The LHW division needs new blood, plus, Dana loves a well spoken lad fighting out of England.

I'm hyped and am happy whoever wins this. But realistically, we all know one of them is slipping on a banana skin and getting injured
