feck feel bad for Burns.
First round really shook me But he delivered in the endWell
That fecking jab.First round really shook me But he delivered in the end
Less of a knob than Adesanya thoughHe is an extremely boring man and I hate listening to him talk, but he is an absolute monster. A very scary fighter.

Now I know what you mean.He is an extremely boring man and I hate listening to him talk, but he is an absolute monster. A very scary fighter.
2 absolute monsters. Izzy has the personality of a 14 year old boy on the internet in the body of an assassinI fecking love Issy, both scary motherfeckers though
Nasty stuff. He goes southpaw also and uses his stronger hand for the jab. Madness! That fecking jab.
Make it happen!Called out Masvidal. Should be fun.

Called out Masvidal. Should be fun.
He’s quite articulate, Kamaru, isn’t he?
Not very charismatic though.Smart man for sure.
Who can beat this man? Only father time apparently.
Sensational by Usman. I'm not sure what's left here. He would dismantle Masvidal again and would beat Covington senseless in a rematch.
To drop Burns with a jab says a lot about how good this man is.
Didn't beat Covington senseless in the first fight, extremely close fight. They're going with the wrong rematch. He dominated Jorge, while the Covington fight was a close fight and a great rivalry. They should run that one back for sure. I just hope that if they do the Masvidal fight he manages to perform better with a full camp and we don't get him held up against a fence for five rounds and on the floor.
People's hate for Covington make them forget how close that fight actually was at times and how good it was too.
I was thinking this earlier. If I were a fighter, I'd be doing the gym world tour, going around different gyms learning different techniques from the best coaches. But then again, I'd be forever looking over my shoulder in case Cody Garbs tries to stab me.Barber needs to switch camps. Imagine what a Firas Zahabi or a Greg Jackson could do with her raw potential.
Confidence without refined technique won't get anybody to the top 10.
Many fighters actually have that potential and stagnate due to camp loyalty.

We all love football but can't all be footballers.I wonder why so many people watch MMA with passion but never attempt to fight profesionally.
Myself for example, I can watch fights every day and argue about it on the internet all day but I just don't have it in me.
I think more than getting punched in the face or take hits to the head, which in itself, would be scary as hell, the most difficult part for me would be the weight cutting.
Weight cutting is so dangerous. That alone is the main reason why I never even considered doing it.
Can’t wait for #UFC259 now.
Good postI'm not sure everyone who thinks Kamaru outshined him hates Convington. I think that's some slightly random inductive reasoning. I don't necessarily care about either fighter but I thought Usman was comfortably better. He broke Convington's jaw. Dropped him twice in 20 seconds. And had him running away immediately after the fight. Was it closer than the Masvidal fight? Of course. But i felt Usman was a level above.
Regarding the first Masvidal fight, Poirier mentioned that Masvidal was training specifically for Usman even before the fight was announced. It was Kamaru who had his preparation vitiated because he didn't anticipate having to face Masvidal. And that's why he just publically called out Masvidal and offered him a rematch with a full training camp; Kamaru knows it's going to be easy pickings.
Between the two, I agree that a rematch with Covington would be more interesting than one with Masvidal, simply because I think there's a bigger gap between Usman and Masvidal than there is between Usman and Covington.

It could be coaching, but it could also be a case of a low fight IQ. Some of the stuff she was still doing last night, after her last fight, I find it hard to believe that anyone is teaching her.
There was no evolution or change of approach. The girls at the very top of the division would pick her apart with ease.
