The LVG is a fat-headed stubborn arrogant fatso thread

sold Chicharito, Nani, Rafael and RVP for about 20 million combined

Thank God for that; all of them are very individualistic players with inability to play in a team except RVP who was just old.

People still rate Rafael

Giggs told the Daily Telegraph: "Marcus is a great talent and I can remember watching him play in an Under-21s against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium shortly before the Midtjylland game in February.

"At half-time I had some hard words with the boys because I felt they were below par but Marcus had stood out even then.

"A couple of days later Louis van Gaal and I watched him in first team training and you could see in glimpses then – the way he took a player on, the little flashes of skill - that this was a boy who was ready to go.

"Of course, the night itself at Old Trafford he just took that chance himself but what he had done before meant there was no hesitation about putting him in the first team when Anthony Martial was injured.

For the people who think it was just done by picking whoever was left; such delusion.

@Home&Away Why on earth are you so hell bent on defending LvG? Some of the criticism is over the top, yes.
However, he club was right to get rid and United are in a significantly stronger position today.

The haters bring this thread because the fans bought up the similarities between the current United and his United. It's like we bashed their knowledge & `we told you so `

So they open a new thread about him being a buffoon and him not doing nothing

There's a whole thread about which players José made better; how much do you want to get on your knees when we can't say that about LVG.

The guy who bought rojo, herrera, Blind, converted young and valencia, martial, rashford, TFM, CBJ, Lingard, integrated Tuenzebe and poole around the first team - this all gets avoided whilst the rest of you all talk about pies

God damn people are as see through as LVG's tactics himself!

He wasn't great at United and has an obnoxious personality but Van Gaal still deserves respect as one of the best coaches of the past 25 years.

I am defending him because people consistently assume he did nothing. Iv got no problem about the fact that he was fired; I never once said that he should have stayed - but there is people on this forum saying he was worse than Moyes; that José hasn't received even a tiny bit of help from LVG's tenure - how can I be the wrong one here?

That’s fair enough, I suppose.

Anyway if anyone wants to talk about LVG to me personally then there is a thread I opened - shall seek to you there.

Enjoy the pies and the umm discussions?

Except what you're literally claiming is that Jose is playing LVG's players and tactics. Both are wrong but "did nothing" is, if anything, closer to reality.

Lol I absolutely love how similar you are to the average Barcelona fans, the average Bayern fan and now the average United fan that all hated LVG because he is just too scientific for you all

Some of us I guess are meant to just be kind of basic  =)

Why don't you do us all a favour and educate us properly, because we're clearly unaware of what Van Gaal is like as manager. Preferably in this style:

It would mean so much if you could help us, the people on here will be eternally grateful.

He hasn’t. The opposite if anything.

Forced me to stop watching United games because of boredom for some times, some thing I didn't even do during Moyes season.

All of them more than played their part in us winning major trophies ,trophies we haven't won since

Just not from united fans

Barca fans dislike him, Bayern fans dislike him, Dutch fans dislike him, the majority of united fans dislike him.

I genuinely don’t get why he has a fan club, aside from Ajax fans from 1990s

He was shite.

The football was an absolute disgrace.

He was entertaining in interviews and I have nothing against him personally, but he was a terrible Utd manager.

When I'm old and senile, I'll be rocking back and forth muttering "fecking Phil Jones on corners?" repeatedly

Played Ashley Young as striker against Spurs away, when we lost 3-0.

There's a thousand things that could be said to moan about him but the simple bottom line is that he made watching United a chore.
