Massive Spanner
The Football Wrench
I would also say it’s an extremely accurate reflection of my time in the game so far
Stupid question but is the number under weapons related to their attack power or durability?
I've just been doing hearts really. Have dozens of stamina foods so the default bar is kind of infinite for me. Might swap back as i have enough health at this point to take a couple of hits. Just the way it worked out for me finding so many stamina ingredients. What ratio do you spend your light of blessing on when it comes to hearts and stamina. So far i go for hearts exclusively but im not sure its wise.
Am I the only person that never uses a horse?
I’ve also basically never used one. I fast travel to a sky tower and paraglide from there.

Horses suck in this game. Id take Roach anyday. Also you have to be near them to call which doesnt jibe with all flying and climbing shit you do.
Do you ever do any work ever?I’ve had to go into the office to actually work today. fecking joke. Brought my switch with me though
I am going to write a terrible review to the elixir committee on those sticky elixirs. I got tired of it raining when I'm half a mile up a cliff climbing so I went to make them I don't think they work well. Its a little better than having nothing. But I still had to go wait on a ledge and make coffee till it stopped raining yesterday.

I need to try shield fusions I have not done any yet. Rockets would have been helpful when I made it up to Hyrule castle to loot it.Just stick a rocket on your shield and launch yourself up. Or use a balloon.
Is this worth getting for someone who hasn't played a Zelda game since OoT?
The crafting puts me off a bit, looks clunky as.
I love Ocarina of Time and it's simplicity yet total Immersion into the world.
Yeah in quick bursts. I’m very efficient and automated a lot of my tasks.
I prefer that. Completely kills the immersion when you trek miles away from your horse then they appear in seconds when you whistle.
Is it better than Ocarina?

Yeah I have a switch, was looking for a another immersive game to play as just completed a couple of resident evils and the Switch is handy for my nomadic lifestyle.I dont know games have evolved since then. Its hard to compare a N64 game with a 2023 switch game. When Oot came out it was considered a open world game at the time. I think in terms of narrative, sense of purpose, and the strong points oot is better, but totk is very creative and certainly is a great game but suffers imo from the same flaws as botw. But thats just my opinion. If you dont own a switch i cant say if its worth getting it just for this game, but if you have a switch i would definitely give it a go.
Is it the gameplay loop? Is it the lack of direction? Anything in particular?I give up, I guess I just don't like Zelda games. I can see that it's a well made and unique game, but it's just so... boring to me. Same as BotW.
Has anyone done Jiukoum Shrine?
I don’t want the solution but am I on the right track with this idea? Driving me mad.
EDIT: Never mind. Immediately after posting this I realised what I needed to change and did it.

Theres ways to avoid paying that much for clothes. I've been selling gems - ruby's, emerald's and the like. I had about 200 glowing plants so i just sold a pile of them. Only time i've seen rupee's dropping is when shooting the glowing rabbitsI think it mentions that the first sticky elixir you make has 'low level' ability. I took that to mean you can upgrade it later. But that's just a guess.
Speaking of coffee. I was genuinely stumped on one Shrine (Makasura Shrine) and quit it having no idea whatsoever how to solve it. So I went to make a coffee and was cursing my dumb brain when the solution hit me. Went back and did it first try. Guess there must be something to this coffee break malarkey.
Also is anyone else finding money really hard to come by? I found a piece of clothing I really wanted days ago and still don't have the 500 rupees I need to buy it. Was thinking how expensive it was when i just found another one that costs 5,000? Is prostitution an option in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?
Lack of direction I think. Not sure exactly. I think it's also the, in my eyes, uninteresting combat mechanics. Sure, you can be extremely creative, but I like smooth and challenging combat that's the main focus of a game as opposed to what it is here.Is it the gameplay loop? Is it the lack of direction? Anything in particular?

I enjoyed the Game Boy ones like A Link to the Past (I think?). Never really managed to get into OoT either which at the time also annoyed me since everyone agreed it was the best thing ever. Didnt play Wind Waker or Skyward Sword. Was BOTW your first or did you also play some of the previous ones?
