Gaming The Legend of Zelda | Earthquake: "It's actually ridiculously good, and keeps getting better." ★★★★★

I'd agree but for whatever reason its raining about 90% of the time for me.
Unless im on the side of a volcano or a desert then im almost certainly dealing with rain and it gets tiresome.
Just seems to be spectacularly bad luck

That really does seem like bad luck! I haven't had nearly as much rain, in fact some times I long for it

My word, you are delusional. If that's what you took from this! You absolute idiot

Good.

If you wasn't so arrogant and keen to slag off everyone who liked this game, despite not knowing a thing about it, maybe I'd have let you get away with it. But no, I've called you out and you've made a right mug of yourself.

That's because I DO know more than you. You HAVE got fundamental facts wrong, congratulations, you've become what you hate. Look back in the ME:A thread, you haven't a clue what you are talking about regards to animation, yet there you are trying to twist and turn on the factual things I'm telling you. It's like me arguing in the current events forum on political issues that people know way more about than me. There's a difference between asking questions, getting involved and learning than flat out making statements you have no idea about.

Yeah, I'll admit I have been winding you up a little. That's because you are so arrogant in everything you discuss on this forum, knowledge or not, that when you come into an area where people are are so much more invested than you, it's hard not to let you make a fool of yourself. Which you have. You've demonstrated time and again you really don't know what you are talking about, you haven't even played the game, yet you are talking and talking and talking. You know not a single thing about game development and motion capture, yet there you were talking and talking. Frankly, if I didn't have somewhere else to be tonight, I'd have happily strung you along more. Simply because you represent the very worst of youtube commenters, and that's fine...on youtube...but not here where you have to back it up or will just get called out.

So let's both do everyone else a favour and stop now. You can go back to hating anything that's popular and that you don't understand, anonymously slagging off youtube videos and the like, and I'll go back to enjoying this wonderful game.

You know the difference between you and me?
I have usually numbers and facts to back me up in some way, although not everyone is entitled to share my conclusions.
You just went in here, jumped on me, declared you have superior knowledge but demonstrating none of that. Where are those "factual things" you keep telling me? ESPECIALLY in that ME:A said? You barely got more than 3 lines together per post and most of that was Zelda related.
I'm always happy to learn, yet still, neither have you said what open world is for you, why OoT i s in your opinion or what that "universally accepted definition" might be. Well, there isn't one, but still. Statement you made, then you went along. That is, for me, the very worst kind of forum commenters you know. It's not a discussion, it's just showing off your dick. Just to let you know, I do not comment on youtube for the same reason as it's not worth the time even typing a one-liner.
Only thing I have learned from this is that this was some sad attempt to get some revenge on me. If it makes you happy, so be it.

I'll tell you what really sucks about this game.

One save(barring autosaves), ala Pokemon.

Plenty of good reason for it(ala Pokemon), but I'd love to do the Island Challenge again, and if I want to I have to start a new save.

So, this is basically Nintendo fanboys getting excited about their first open world game, which essentially came 15 years too late?
...

Now you are not even capable of writing on your own anymore?
You pretty much ignore that that post back then was part of a larger discussion about how people could lable it "game of the year" in february ;)
But I guess that does not fit your narrative.

You wrote it after Zelda was released and it was your first post in here. Not in February.

Facts and figures...

Uh mei goooowd it was 4 days after february. Sorry that I'm not nearly as passionate about this as you are. What do I care on which exact day it was released. I'm pretty much aware that this comment was AFTER release as you could probably guess bit what I said in this discussion today.

You wasn't involved in the discussion at all, and it wasn't posted in February. You are the one who wants facts and figures. Keep twisting and squirming though, it's most amusing

feck it, the missus is taking ages to get ready...Here's one for you. Since you claim there's nothing new here and all that, but you seem to love the Witcher, can you tell me what that particular game does new? As in, what element(s) does it introduce we've never seen before? If it's so great, and Zelda isn't, based on introduction of new gameplay elements, that should be an easy one for you...

Question.
Whats the good reason for that? I don't see it.
At the very least they should allow 2-3 save files? With equipment breaking (even if not as frequent as i first thought), i wouldn't let my friend try out the game in fear of his newbieness fecking up my stuff.

Well with the pokemon games, it's to do with memory space. Here, it's probably more to do with numerous accounts all adding up I'd imagine.

For example, it takes seconds to set up a friend account and let them play it.

Ahh, so you can set up just another account for them, so it's not limited to one save per system but one save per user on that system?
Sounds ok then. :p

Yet again, you wrongly insunuate that I don't think Zelda is (or can be for most) a great game. So sorry, no response here. You are just a troll.

I was thinking of save exploitation, but I guess you could save scum with single files anyway.

As for your mate, that's one of the best things, can't really feck anything up, everything is replaceable, the worst thing possible would be to sell all your armour, especially upgraded stuff. It'd still be replaceable, but with massive effort.

Oh of course you have played other Open World Games, this is just the first Zelda Open World.

I'm sorry, I'm just done with Nintendo rehashing the same 5 games since the late 90's.
And this is just same. I'm not saying it's a bad game, it's not for sure, but it's the same Zelda formula with mechanics new for the series itself, but otherwise outdated by 5 years. There's nothing ground breaking, nothing new.

Top 5 of all time? Never.

:lol::lol::lol:

You can't think of anything, can you? Funnily enough, I can think of a couple at least that Witcher gets from OoT!

For example, it takes seconds to set up a friend account and let them play it.
That's what I plan on doing when I replay it eventually. I could use my Japanese account, but I'm not sure if that'll auto-switch the language. An experiment for later.
Ahh, so you can set up just another account for them, so it's not limited to one save per system but one save per user on that system?

Aye, I could have explained that better. Takes a minute or two to set up an extra account.

"I'm not saying it's a bad game, it's not for sure"
In the post you just quoted.
I mean...I know you are capable of reading. Do it then.

Oh also, I did not say there is anything especially groundbreaking about The Witcher 3. It is just a very well made game and in a setting which is much more mature, while also featuring a unique story. And having a developer which tries to break with the costumes of the industry.

30k posts and still acting like a child hm? I mean, you have left the fields of even emulating a discussion long ago, but now you are just undermining your own point.

Really? That's maybe why you keep changing yours!

Btw did you watch those videos above? How do you think your precious Witcher would hold up there? Or is that a silly question, have you even played that??

You mean the arbitrary collection there without any meaningful information in it?
I'm sure there are ZERO graphics or physics glitches in Zelda and I'm sure everyone agress that Zelda looks better than the Witcher 3. Everyone. So great.

Edit: since you are so knowledgable, you should have known better than counting on such a shitty comparison video.
Zero glitches, absolutely none.

They aren't glitches you absolute weapon

So not only do you not play games, you don't even watch videos on them any more? Youtube comments must be very barren right now :(

Still waiting on what Witcher does new btw...

I've really got to go, but one last word tonight for my arrogant little friend who likes to put it about all over this forum, despite clearly knowing the square root of feck all about anything:

giphy.gif

Peace.

Those aren't glitches? Ah. Sorry, I did not bother with this bullshit after she literally glitched into one of those fishes.
Yeah, I'm sure Zelda is flawless. I mean, that'S what games have always been know for. Maybe watch my video then.

And you won't get an answer, you don't deserve it. Leads nowhere as long as you keep telling lies about what you think I said or wrote.

7/10 - 9.5/10 from our friend Mr. Sterling.

I actually think Horizon looks like great fun, but jesus, those videos paint it in a bad light. Burning water, ffs....
Yeah the game looks good and most likely one I'll get when I get a PS4 (whenever at is), but some of those were quite amusing

Yeah, it's pretty decent actually. Of course I've never played it, and it's shit cause you are guerrilla fanboys, but I quite like it.

I'm going to start horizon tomorrow

So I can give you all the official low down and end the argument once and for all

As much as I love Elder Scrolls games, to give the new Zelda a 7/10 calling it flawed when you gave Skyrim a 10 is absurd.
Like I said, he just likes shallow little straightforward games.

This thread has been quite entertaining today and has eased my hangover, cheers to all involved.

It's no Zelda, but it's pretty decent actually. Like most of these types of games, it gets a little samey, but I think it's solid and certainly something to build on!

 I wish I wasn't getting glared at by the missus right now, I'd keep stringing fcbullcrap along ;)
