Number of reinforcements: 2

Pool: any player from the 12 eliminated teams... so long as you bag the team first.

Mechanics: Sheep Round. Select a knocked out manager (same as country and club, now manager). P1, P2, P3. Usual rules apply: manager pools can get blocked and each manager ends up with a team to pick his reinforcement from. No shitheads, no protection, no cheats. Nada.

Deadlines: Managers must submit their chosen team for P1 by 10PM GMT today. P2 by 11am GMT, P3 by 5pm GMT. We will run two rounds, same deadlines apply for the second one (but some players will be gone, obviously).

If 2 managers select the same target, is the target blocked for the following picks?

I think we're only choosing teams this round? We can't possibly overlap with your team - either you get it or you don't. If you get a pass then you can submit your picks from that team. At least this is what I get from the rules @The Stain @antohan

My understanding is we have 2 independent rounds.

Possible to get player A from team 1 and then player D from team 3.

Between round 1 and 2, the players are disclosed.

Yes but the Club and Country rounds were slightly different. Countries were blocked for full round, whereas with Club we could repick the same club in p2

Nah, the rules are pretty straight forward:

You can't pick players from different teams.

Correct.

None of that lenient bollocks from the club round though. A team picked in P1 is already picked thereafter.

Blocked teams unblock for R2. We liked the notion of doing one round and two picks from the chosen team, but the cost of failure would be too much (zero reinforcements) so we have two rounds.

2 rounds.

1st round you target one player from team A-B-C-D-...
1st pick 2nd pick 3rd pick
Outcome: you get a sheep or the player 14 you have chosen

2nd round you target a player from team A-B-C-D-...
1st pick 2nd pick 3rd pick
Outcome: you get a sheep or the player 17 you have chosen

You target the team. No two managers can get different players from the same team in one round.

If you have PASS, it means you can choose the player you want from the chosen target.

yeah exactly. If I get a PASS I'll send in my pick out of the team that I had a PASS on. If I get BLOCK I will not need to send a pick as that team will be blocked.

Then rinse and repeat in round two - I pick a club that is not blocked I get to choose another player, if I get a FAIL - again I don't need to send anything.

Yeah I think it's the same thing. I've sent in a team only because if I fail I can't pick a player, whether in the clubs round we had to send our 1,2,3 picks because there were also budgets involved.

We don't require the player is included as you may well want to mindfeck yourself guessing who the other passes are upgrading with.

That said, it would be useful so that at P3 reveal we don't have to wait around for the remaining pool to be known.

If you aren't sending the player make sure you are around at P3 reveal.
