Haven't started. Always believed people simply ignore long assed write ups anyways.Have you guys started writing Bio's for your players yet ? Or are you waiting till you get a solid 12 and then start ?

Why you think your team beats the other is the most important. You will obviously mention all your stats but showing why your team wins is the most important thing. No one is going to read paragraphs about every player.Yeah true, but this is my first draft and I am not sure how to approach it. Is it usually very stats oriented or is it a case of displaying what strengths you have and how that can defeat the opposition. Or is there some other trick in the book ?
So does it help if I have a team with players that have actually played with each other ? I mean is that an advantage over a team that say has all the best players from all the generations but never in reality played with each other ?Why you think your team beats the other is the most important. It helps if the combo is relevant. A WK bowler combo isn't as meaningful as an opening pair. It depends on the individual voter though, some may still ignore it because hard as you may sell it, cricket is sort of an individual sport even though it's a team one.So does it help if I have a team with players that have actually played with each other ? I mean for example, will a team with Gilly and Shane warne necessarily have a greater advantage over a team with say Lillee and Gilly ? Or is it just simply down to how well you can defend your team ?
Fair point. ThanksIt helps if the combo is relevant. A WK bowler combo isn't as meaningful as an opening pair. It depends on the individual voter though, some may still ignore it because hard as you may sell it, cricket is sort of an individual sport even though it's a team one.
