The puzzles in X were really dreary, the ones where you had to put the spheres in the correct place etc etc...just dire. The best things about X for me were that it was graphically stunning with a great score to match and Auron was cool as feck...I loved the Blitzball game too, very addictive!

Question to those that have played FF XII, was it a dissapointment? I've heard mix reviews about it, I'm still thinking if I should get it or not, would you reccomend it?

Yes it was a disappointment, but it is still an excellent game and I would highly recommend it. Just not as good as other FF's thats all. And it shouldn't et you back anymore than £20 so it is not a huge loss if you don't like it. Still a thoroughly enjoyable game. (Although I am yet to complete it, played around 60 hours though)

olesmyhero just pmd you. Just wondering if you knew if there was a ff9 pc version.

Also KingEric7 pmd you the link for the pc edition of final fantasy 7. Ultima edition works perfectly.

Cheers London Red.

Has anyone found a way to play FF6 on the PC? Thanks in advance.

I got up to the Ridorana Cataract about 2 months ago, am I far off from finishing it? If I aint too far off, I may well just do it to see the ending, although I always like maxing out my characters before I do that.

Quite close

But you want to kill 2 monsters, one with 2 million hit points and another with 5 million hit points - I can't remember where they are. If you survive that, you can kill anything, and the game isn't worth playing any more

Hmm... I could be wrong... might be 99999. I can't really remember

I do know though, that once you enter the latter stages of the battle with the 5 million HP monster the cap is reduced to 6999 or 69999, which really sucks.

It's on the GBA, as Final Fantasy VI Advance. Get it and play it on an emulator. The screen might be a tad small for your tastes though.

Cheers.
Anyone know where i can get this version of FF6? I had no idea they had released it on the Playstation.

If Yuna had been a better character I wouldn't have minded, but I always played with Tidus, Wakka and Auron, and compared to them, Yuna was pretty much useless.

She is by far the best. Due to the flexible nature of the sphere grid, there is negligible, if any difference between the characters after doing some serious levelling.
The difference with Yuna is that she can also summon.

How did you do that is it out for the psp

there are several ways to do it actually:

a.) you can buy a PS3 and buy the converted PS1 games off the Playstation Network, then plug in your psp to the ps3 via usb and transfer it in your memory stick and you're good to go

b.) if you have the PS1 CD, you can use a certain program to convert it to psp format

c.) download it off the net (illegally of course)

b.) if you have the PS1 CD, you can use a certain program to convert it to psp format

Do you know what program I could use. Isn't there 3 or 4 cd's do you put them all together.

If not do you have a direct link to were I can download the game for psp.

Actually funnily enough I think Rikku gets better than Auron at the very high levels, mainly due to her Mix limit break yoke.

When I bet the Dark Aeons + Penance I used Tidus, Wakka, Rikku, solid combo

i just started playing FF7 again on my psp...amazing game!

I just downloaded it for the pc. Shamelessly to admit that its one of the FF series i haven't played and most probably the best one of the lot.

I have just jumped off the train, lemme at em !

Just to remind ourselves where we are going with this...

Probably in-game.

Probably cutscene (but rendered realtime) ie. you could in theory rotate the camera in this.

This game looks superb, but to be honest I am more looking forward to the 'darker' FF Versus XIII, just looks immense. Think this is going to be 'the' Final Fantasy of all Final Fantasies.

Havent they stated that FFXIII is also set to be released in 2009 though.

No official release date has been set, but word coming out of Square Enix is that FFXIII will be released in 2008. (Although it wouldn't surprise me if it was released in Japan for 2008, Europe will most likely get it sometime 2009)
