The F1 Thread 2015 Season

What a horrid season this has been.

I must have watched only 3-4 races this season from start to finish. The others I've either switched off, not bothered at all or tuned in late because I expected a borefest.

Today was one of those I watched throughout for lack of anything else to do. I regret it.

I've missed loads of races this season through a combination of not being arsed to make sure I'm home, not being arsed to get up, and switching off half way through.

It's just been shit, and it's not going to get any better.

I didn't think it was that bad a race, but then again I have watched every race from start to finish this season and maybe because this race was better than the other more boring races my opinion may be skewed a bit.

Pirelli will be staying around for another 3 years so that is one less opportunity for a shake up.

Lame.

I only keep an eye on results these days out of habit. These engines have pretty much destroyed my interest.

Same, I switched off today after the first round of pit stops. Just can't be bothered with the sport anymore.

I love watching Hamilton win obviously but even I hope they are challenged next year, the sport needs it.

There was a time when I'd watch every race. To the point that I'd record and try not to spoil the results if for whatever reason I couldn't watch live.

These days I only sort of keep up out of habit or watch if I'm very bored.

I am expecting HAAS to be pretty decent next season, not challenging for the title obviously, but I think they will score a good few points.

Why would you think that? They have little to no experience in building F1 cars, in fact they shipped out the design of their car to Dallara who's last F1 design was a dog slow HRT. They will have a decent engine and a decent driver, apart from that everything about them screams tail ender for a season or three.

F1 is really hard to break into and hit the ground running, particulalrly a start up (and not a buyout).

The decent driver and engine has swayed me to think they could hit the ground running.

They are getting a lot of help from Ferrari, engine and some important chassis designs.

Hopefully we'll see some good racing in the last 4 races. I like Austin, LOVE interlagos, Mexico will be interesting because it's new, and Abu Dhabi will be exciting to see Lewis get a well deserved 3rd WDC.
