I tend to agree with you, Pirelli have had problems with delamination this season but have said its been sorted.

Pirelli are saying that the tyre blowout on Perez's car was due to a cut in the tyre wall.

The Red Bulls will probably jump them in the race, though. They've done that every time the Mercs have qualified up top this year, except for Monaco (and they'd have done it there, too, if you could actually overtake!).
I hope he does get the seat. Qualifying so high up today will surely help his cause.

Hope Lewis converts his pole into a win today. Seems overdue. Mercedes race pace hasn't been great though.

I'm guessing they will 3 stop and go super aggressive with Lewis, probably 2 stop with Rosberg and try and hold back the Red Bulls a bit. Still fancy a Vettel win, still a better race car right now.
