Button got a lap in, just didn't bother pushing as he knew Vettel and Hulkenberg had given up. How many laps will Lewis do before he has to pit?
feck sake, I forgot this was on early.
Happy Lewis got pole. He needs a good start with Kimi and Alonso breathing down his neck though, I remember a couple of slow starts costing him positions last season. Tomorrow will be all about strategy. Remains to be seen whether the teams who saved tyres will gain a big advantage in the race?
Softs are up to 1.5 secs quicker than the medium so Lewis and the others will use the extra performance and open a gap between themselves and Vettel, I reckon they're going to do the last 50 laps on the medium which is possible if you stop twice.
What a surprise. Webber expresses dissatisfaction with Red Bull, and his car mysteriously breaks
"Muahahaha"
It really is a joke when it gets the the point where even during qualify we are talking about how best to conserve tyres and that to win, instead of trying to actually race each otherNow that is the question, I would of thought within 5 maybe.
Pit stops and tyre wear is going to decide this race , not speed.

Happened a few times last season as well. It is clear that the format for qualify is no longer working with the direction that the tyres are going. Perhaps a qualify set of tyres and a race set. That way they can burn through tyres chasing speed, without actually harming their race.I agree this morning was a joke.
No team really wanted to come out, BBC was even going on about no cars coming out for Q3, and to even talk about that is just daft, when have we seen Red Bull or any of the top teams not trying in Q3.
I can see more team orders wrecking the race again on Sunday.

Could always have it you start on the same compound you finished qualifying on. SO do the last lap of qualifying using hard compound, you start the race with new hard tyres from the race allocation.Could be a good idea, but I also like the idea of starting the race on the tyres used in Q3, what I don't like is car that qualify for Q3 and don't even come out.
I do think that something needs to be done, but what, I dont have a clue.
I'm interested to see the different strategies the teams use today.
Did you see Christian Horner trying to get noticed by Brundle on the pit walk but he just ignored him!
switch on to BBC and Rosberg says he has the quickest car.
