The Event

Enjoyed the episode. Could kind of see the end coming. Did look all a bit convenient.

Saw this on C4 last night. Looked pretty good and am just about to view E5. Seems good enough thus far.

I watched it on C4 the other day aswell, was pretty good, it does seem like a V rip off though....just with more mysteries.

dowloaded this now, going to watch tonight and report back.

Saw the 5th Epi. Was pretty good I thought. It's a good thing they've cut down on the flashbacks.

One thing that's bugging me though :

The mole in the government. The guy close to the president and co. How does he keep talking to Sophia and discussing stuff without any of it ever being caught on tape? Don't they have any surveillance of Sophia and her interviewers etc?

yeah, i was thinking about that before, this show needs to get better, or I am out

Just watched all 5 episodes tonight.

It's good but I'm not gripped. I can't think now, but I remember noticing a few plot holes while watching it.

I don't know what you lot think but how they got the plane to teleport seems somewhat irrelevant now? He's obviously a smarter race and they touched on nucular technology earlier on.

It seems to me that they it's more important what they are. We know they are 99% human in DNA, so I'm thinking they are from the future and they are looking to build a way to get back there. They said about apes being 98% human in DNA so I presume they are just the next process of evolution?

Episode 6 is on in America tonight isn't it? So I can download it tomorrow?

I'm enjoying it. Not outstanding, but good enough. Something to download on a Tuesday morning.

yeah its airs on monday nights in north america, so it will be downloadable tomorrow morning for you lot.

I'm qatching on e4, just finished ep2. I am enjoying it, but won't be back into this thread for a bit as to not ruin it!

Shit just got real.

At least we getting to learn more about Lila's father and that whole airplane crap.

Not really much to say about that episode though is there, we know more about Simon Lee now, we know more about Micheal Buchanan and we know something massive happened at the end which the "aliens" or more specifically Thomas seemed to control but we don't actually know what the hell is going on yet...

Liked that episode a lot. Really quick pace. More stuff was revealed than before. Hope this does not get scrapped the Flashforward way

really getting into this now, like it

WTF just happened in the latest episode from the USA?

Good episode again. Not sure though the show can last beyond a season.

Haha glad I didnt get too involved then, saw it's poor execution in one episode and new it wouldnt make it long, its on NBC too doesnt bode well for many shows these days

What the feck happened at the end of the latest episode

Far better episode than the last one, slightly predictable at times but good nonetheless. And once again, what the hell happened at the end?

Most predictable bit ever with the VP.

Mr. President, I'm gonna tell you what you need to know, right.....nnnnn.......nnnnnnn......nnnnnn............nnnnnow. His name..............is...............wait for it........... his name i-BOOM

Last episode was much better. Still some ridiculous stuff but it's a fun show to watch.

End was interesting, did not exactly expect that.

That girl called Lielia or whatever can't act to save her life. Hmmmm, interesting stuff about her dad and I now know why they want the kids. If you take the whole show in totality it makes sense. It is cheeky but it makes sense. If you can't age what do you need? Aging hormones. That old guy is not an old guy at all, it is the injections they have created that makes him look old, but once it wears out, he becomes young again.

Yeah Leila is incredibly annoying. Her acting is worse than useless. The only reason she's slightly bearable is that well shes eye candy :D
Hmm the aging hormones yeah makes sense. And they did show a scene where the old guy turns "young" in the mirror so yeah he probably is "young" then. But how is it used? The assassin was given the serum/injection and he immediately died after aging too much?
It's an interesting show to follow for a season or so.

Loved the "cancer in the balls" bit

So Two and a Half Men esque

The reason I think the guy just died was because he was human. The girls they are taking are all offsprings of "one of them". So they try the serum on them to see how it will age them. They are hybrids that will grow, but their growth will be slowed. Noticed that the girl's father knew what was up and came to warn Leila not to try and look for her sister.
They can't try the serum on themselves so the next best thing is half offsprings.

Is this coming back?

I stopped watching this after episode 9, no interest at all to carry on.

Well it became back yesterday on my TV and moved pretty fast. Within Two hours, they had completely changed the whole series, they killed off all the ends that were going on and now have just three lines going on.
Was interesting, nearly did not watch, but I liked what I saw.

Really? I have that double episode downloaded but haven't bothered watching it till now. Time to give it a go then!

According to my Dad as of 2 seconds ago this is back on tonight at 10 and 11...fecking strange they havn't advertised it at all!
