The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

Another weak showing from the Bundesliga in Europe.

Worsts defenses in Europe that league.

In order of strength:

Atletico, Arsenal, Marseille then Salzburg

I admittedly don't know much about Salzburg, but they didn't seem to have any interesting names.

Just hope Arsenal draw one of Marseille or Atleti.

So,

Arsenal
Atletico
Marseille
Salzburg

Who do you want Arsenal fans?

I imagine you'll want to avoid Atletico
As long as we miss Atletico. I feel like we'd have a small chance against them in a final, but no chance over two 90 minutes of football.

Is it me who wants Arsenal to be there till the end? We still have them in the league to play, could work in our favor.

Alsoif it makes Wenger keeps his job them nobody can complain.

If Salzburg can beat Dortmund and Lazio, then they have a chance against Arsenal too. Rose seems to be a great manager, won the Youth League last year too.

I don't think we have a chance away against Marseille too. They would smash us at least 3.
Salzburg is very dangerous too, they are scoring goals for fun.
Don'T have a favourite. Atletico normally isn't a team which scores many goals.

Don't we play them in beetween their semi final game? Come on Wenger all eggs in.... Another 8-2 incoming.

Didn't know they knocked BVB as well. Interesting. They're not some push overs then.

Salzburg got a 1 draw and 1 win in group stage against Marseille.

I think they are pretty on par with the french, they are not well known so there is that...

They don't keep their good players for long. You might recognize the names in a few years.
Naby Keita and Sadio Mane played for them for example.

fecking hell! What's up in Europe this week? Crazy 3 days . Lazio out in style, Atletico risked and us, too. Would have been criminal to go out against a defence that was 200 years old . I really don't know why we are so shit away from home.

Last time a Bundesliga team made the semifinals of the EuropaLeague was HAMBURG in 2009/2010. They lost to FULHAM. Switzerland and Austria have had more recent representation in the semifinals of the EuropaLeague than Germany. And that´s not because of 50+1. German coaching is garbage, but nobody is willing to admit it. Full throttle suicide.
