The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

At the moment they play at either 7 or 9pm. Does that change from now on ?
Actually there's one on at 4pm, 4 on at 6pm and 3 on at 8pm so I'm speaking out of my bum there. Still, 3 of the best ties are all on at the same time tonight which is quite annoying for me but, as I said, understandable due to scheduling and whatnot.

I could definitely see even the Red Bull sides knocking out Arsenal. Their really aggressive press could shock Arsenal. And I could also see Lyon, Lazio or Marsielle knocking them out.

I'm confident both Red Bull sides will go out tonight, though. Particurly Leipzig I can't see doing much in St. Petersburg.

Very much doubt it. I mean Red Bull sides knocking out Arsenal.

We are on the verge of reaching the last 8 in Europe after 8 years (Barcellona in 2010). Let's do it!

The irony of downtrodden Arsenal fans on here looking forward to another European draw. Lightening could strike twice, the last team to win it finished sixth in the PL too.

What a move by Forsberg and nice finish by Augustin. Klopp will try to buy the whole club.

EDIT: Yeah was Werner with the assist. Not that it matters. Klopp wants him, too.

That was an incredible movement from Augustin, great goal. Leipzig have pushed the door wide open to proceed to the quarters.

Do they also have some release clauses to force the sale? It was a hard fought to get Keita via paying close to release clause and loaning him back (technically). Hard to bully them to sell if they don't want to.

Forsberg reportedly has a release clause.

There were some great goals in the earlier Atletico vs Lokomotiv game. Atletico looking very impressive, Loko collapsed after the third. This could badly affect their confidence as league leaders now. I was hoping the young playmaker Aleksei Miranchuk might step up and show something great in these games, but he didn't do much. He's been getting quite a bit of hype in Russia with a breakthrough season this year and has a lot of flair and technical ability, but i don't see a lot of mental toughness or willingness to really take hold of games in him.

Just saw the score in Sporting game. They're in trouble ain't they?

Pulisic changes the whole tie for Dortmund last week and had a great game on the weekend, so Stöger benches him and sends out the same starting 11 that couldn´t create a scoring opportunity in 60 minutes last week and was 0-2 down.

Damn Keita knocked out. Scary moment that he might have swallowed his tongue.

Keita to Werner penalty. Werner misses. This would be another classic German chokery to lose this tie in ET, although it should be like 10-3 overall by now.

Pulisic is ill with flu

Lazio should have killed the tie over way before the last 10 minutes. Dinamo were completely non-existent for most of the game, apart some shots from outside the box.

Atletico fecking impressive! They are favourites by miles.

With Atletico's form, I reckon they could have gone far in in the CL if they hadn't had a shocking group stage.

Bernardo is a bum. Guy must think he plays for Zenit. I can´t believe RBL still have not killed this tie.

Sporting missed a penalty gift.:wenger:

I hate this club. It's simply unbelievable, we gift them goals, miss sitters, hit the post, miss a penalty, literally everything that can go wrong always goes wrong.

Bottling a 2-0 lead against Viktoria Plzen... embarassing. If this goes to penalties we're 100% going to feck it up too.
