The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

Think I'll root for my favorite drink in the EL. Don't want a half-arsed Napoli to knock them out, atleast RB are more intent on the competition.

Finally, my god...I was really getting pissed with the amount of chances...it wasn't even interesting anymore. Roughly an average of 1 completely wasted opportunity per minute after a bunch of great pressing, passing and dribbling beforehand.

Story of their season. If they could finish chances internationally, they would have been playing on a Tuesday or Wednesday right now.
They only lost at Porto because they are very bad defending setpieces, and that is responsability of Hassenhuttl.

Leipzig playing well, Bruma scores 1:2 for Leipzig.

Still can't even be happy, the tie could already be over with the amount of opportunities they've wasted. Feels like too little from a game where they should be rewarding themselves even more.

They could still have won if they had scored their chances. It was even worse against Besiktas.
That group was very strange, worst Porto team probably from this century, total meltdown by Monaco, wasteful Leipzig and a tactically astute Turkish team, strange times.

Sarri has just rotated too much in Europe all season. It knocked them out of the CL and it’s going to get them knocked out of the EL as well. If they don’t win the Scudetto it would be a massively underwhelming season for them.

Nice from Musonda. Depay with the 3:1, what a goal.

Fairly poor from Zenit, surprised at how little they offered. Celtic were alright but could've been a lot more clinical, wasted a number of chances so will be interesting as to whether that haunts them in the next leg.

Not surprised by Napoli at all. I predicted them all to sacrifice everything else to boost their chance of winning the league.

I know Napoli don't give a feck about the Europa League, but it's still an embarassing defeat. Deserved win for Leipzig. They took the game to them.

The injury time in Steaua - Lazio was an absolute joke. Only about a minute of football was played from the 5 minutes added time, yet the ref blew the whistle in the 96th minute.

I fecking despise time wasting and the fact that nothing's ever done to tackle this shite.

If all the "big" teams get through then it could be tasty as they get drawn against each other. I imagine even those who don't care about Europa will care if they're playing another "big" team. An Atletico-Arsenal final would be good.

Also there's a ****** Milan player called hashahahahahahahahahahahahahaha? wtf

Frantic game with lots of mistakes between Lyon and Villareal. Enjoyable though, and I wish we had a place in our squad for Fekir.
