The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

So big Sam sent a load of youngsters out and got a 3-0 away win. Everton will be a different prospect under him. I really think he is the guy to get them their first win over the Scouse in God knows how long.

He could have been in the job quicker if some of the fans hadn't been so snooty and Everton board not dithered around.

6-0!

Last Saturday was all a blur, only as good as your last game, i can't hear anyone else over the sound of this brilliant victory, lalalalalalalala.

First time that two serbs team are qualified. They didn't even reach group stage until sometimes ago. Hopefully it means a new life for serbian football.

Seeded and unseeded teams:

Some really good teams in the knockout stages, especially some of the ones who've dropped down from the CL.

Some good teams, but nobody that Arsenal can't beat on their day.
It's very out of character for me to root for another English club, but I really hope that Arsenal can win this competition.
Would be great to have 3 English winners in recent years, and none of them being Liverpool ...!!

Depends if we play first team or not. Likes of atletico and Dortmund will require first team and I'm not sure how long Wenger keeps playing the fringe players. Hopefully he takes it seriously in the knockout stage and goes for the win.

Really looks like one of the strongest editions of the Europa League in recent years. Arsenal, Atletico, Napoli, Borussia, Milan, Lyon, Zenit, Marseille should all be fun to watch.

Your u18s could beat this Dortmund side, they are awful. Napoli are the hottest side left in.

Would like to face Lyon, good team to see how we perform against them in 2 matches. Hopefully Braga can get a good team to see if they can at least advance this round.

How it should be.....some good clubs involved.

What do you mean, beating them and out of form real is pre-reqs to being CL winners elect

Nah they ain't bad, you'd think they'd get their shit together come knockout rounds next month.

Wow the Guardians commentary on the draw is amusing. Literally ripping the presenters to shreds.
