The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

It is scary how bad we have been this season. Relegation is still a real concern. The thing is we was looking really good at the back end of last year. Lukaku and Barkley really carried this team.

Wtf is wrong with Everton. Watched the score in the 84th and it was 1-2

By luck. Atalanta could have scored 3 in the first 15 minutes of the second half

Everton did have a couple great chances in the first half tbf, after atalanta's goal

Well done Braga and Abel, already qualified, and Everton

Meanwhile Koln still can qualify to save the honour of German teams, very bad performance this season, only Bayern or Leipzig atm can play in February.

You won the group. Why risk important players tonight?

It's the same scenario as Utd last night. We didn't need to play with a full strength side. We're through unless we lose 7-0.

So be happy. If Whinger plays the kids in semi and final, then moan.
Head to head in CL not Goal difference

What the feck is Kevin Campbell wearing on Europa League highlights on ITV??

Napoli and BVB won't be seeded so there could be some interesting matches like Arsenal-Napoli or BVB-Atletico in the Ro32.

If we took it seriously we should still be favourites.
We are going to face each other in the final, where Jorge Jesus will give a tactical masterclass to Wenger, reaching the minute 90 with a 2:0 advantage, but as usual he will bottle it with his wonderful substitutions only to Giroud score 2 goals in 3 minutes.

Then Jesus will fall on his knees looking to the sky, and when we reach the penalty shootout every Sporting and Arsenal players will miss them, in the end everyone will say "This are the biggest specialists in failure world football has ever known":lol::lol:

Seriously, don't know but certainly you, Atletico Madrid, Napoli amongst the favourites, the rest is very open imo. ;)

Napoli no way for me. They are trashing smaller teams, but against better teams they are runnig out of ideas. Surely not easy to play, but not favourites for me.

Atletico is never easy to beat and they will have Diego Costa next year. I always compare them with Chelsea - can score goals from nothing and are good defensively.

Dortmund has to have a new coach after winter, so they will get better too. Don't think Leizpig without international experience is good enough for the big matches.

Atletico, Arsenal (with our best team) - Lyon, Napoli - Dortmund, Lazio - Leipzig, Atalanta, Milan, Villareal

Give the trophy to United, then

It's gotten a lot more interesting now. Arsenal should actually be one of the favourites, and I suspect this will be their real chance to get into CL again much like ourselves last season. Let's just say I'm glad we didn't have this roster though!

I'd like to win today, as winning the group with just 10 points and 2 defeats would be so comical.

Atalanta-Lyon should be a fun game. Love watching both Gomez and Fekir.
