The reason Paceme could change was because he DID specify what he picked, and it was flagged before anyone else picked.

He was simply luckier then you. It's as simple as that.

In hindsight could the rule be different? Sure, potentially. But considering we had already allowed some to change on the basis of as long as it's before the next man picks, it's impossible to change.

I'm sorry but unfortunately that's the way the coin fell. I'm disappointed you felt the need to quit or feel discriminated against but I can assure you it was necessary not was it the case.
 
@rpitroda specifing the.criteria or changing his pick before the other manager had as much impact as me changing my pick after a few hours. so am sorry if I dont buy that flimsy excuse based on tradition ,etc.

You're mixing the cards. If a manager makes a mistake, that's on him. Both paceme and you. But if said manager corrects his mistake before the normal picking order resumes and the draft moves on, he's allowed to do that - that's the way it's done.

If, however, a manager discovers at some point down the line that he has picked a player based on an illogical, contradictory, genuinely ambiguous criterion - then he should be allowed to change his pick, regardless of how many has picked in between. Because that isn't on him - it's on the host, who has posted faulty rules/criteria.

That's what I meant. It has no bearing on your Popescu case - or paceme's case, or any other case in this draft.

I won't prolong this exchange, man, it has no purpose - but I hope you don't actually think that people here, myself included, have it in for you for unknown reasons. I know I don't - and I'm sure that goes for the others too.

Comparing your case to everyone else's that rule applies. Of course people are free to ruminate over whether your case should be treated differently among cases LIKE YOURS, i.e. backtracking after the next pick. There will be all sorts of positions on nuances there. Personally, I don't think there's room for nuances or rumination, if there's been follow up picks you are done and that should apply equally to anyone in any snake draft. We can't rely on "common sense" seeing as there's no such thing as common sense in a constantly changing bunch of draft managers.
