I am thankful you pointed out about Albertini not counting as winning the league because i would o got to the end of the drat and would of been handicapped.

Started on this page but a lot of posts were deleted by Brwned in the aftermath so stuff is missing. Basically he picked Toure to play as a DM and then in the following discussion everyone told him he's not great defensively to play there and he wanted to change his pick after a couple of players had been picked, which generated a great controversy ending in anto calling him Stalin for deleting posts that had the discussion and what not. :lol:
 
@KM the difference is that someone checked paceme's pick straight after he did and nobody did the same for @MJJ when he made his pick, so it's not really the same, just bad luck nobody cared he picked Popescu

But he never stated WHY he picked Popescu - so there was no need for anyone to point out anything. Popescu also played in three countries - he could've picked him for that for all we knew.

...or as part of a combo for that matter.

@MJJ To be fair, I would actually be mildly (only mildly) interested in Popescu. Until I realized he was top 30.
 
The winning the league rule in the combo 8&9 criteria, does that include if they have won a second tier league like The Championship?
 
Di Maria is a great pick and i had him planned until i ( well Chesterlestreet ) fecked myself over with Albertini not qualifying for 8 and 9.
