i love that album, i just think it fades badly

just my opinion, still a great album though

Impossible question. For me my favorite artist changes every day. Right here and now, the best album ever produced is Tom Waits' Closing Time from 1973.

oh hell yes!!

shame they got so shit

Vedder has one of the greatest singing voices i ever heard. And Cornell too

If you like Vedder, then I strongly recommend "Into The Wild". If you look further up in this thread you can see I am a fan of Tom Waits' early work, well Eddie Vedder's "Into The Wild" falls not far behind Waits in this genre.

Their double album, The Love Below/Spearboxx was better imo, it even won record of the year at the Grammys

I totally dig Speakerboxx but am not so keen on The Love Below. For me, Stankonia has more ferocious energy behind it, and (although The Speakerboxx/Love Below record is fantastically diverse) seethes with said energy throughout.

Gasoline Dreams is a fantastic first track, what a way to open a record.

Californication was a very good album, the show is very interesting as well

Definately Maybe for me. Bands usually get their best albums years into their fame, Oasis got theirs day 1. Every single song is a classic which you can listen to over and over again. If not the greatest album of all time then definately the greatest debut album of all time.
