Gold isn't in the Constitution, guns are, because the current interpretation is that new/current laws have to be in accordance with 1780's norms and restrictions there isn't a whole lot Congress or the President can do
There is only one way to resolve this issue, un-elect every politician that will not vote to repeal the 2A
Well 43% is homicide. Over roughly 40k (37k in 2019 and raising) a year, is about 16k. About top 3 in the world in top death by country just counting homicidws vs total of the other countries (that have suicew too) and no were near to any developed country in absolute and relative terms
The only comparable country apparently is Brazil, suicide is 54% in the US it appears

Haven't read the story but I'm going to hazard a guess that it ended with the death of an innocent black bystander and our man with the swastika flag got a stern talking to.
Apparently he committed suicide but I haven't seen any reports just Tweets saying that. It was actually going on for a lot longer than 6 hours too, and this is at least the THIRD time he's done it. Apparently his house windows were openly covered with Nazi flags too.
And, as a bonus, there's another Florida man story via a link of his name in the article's last paragraph...

I've said that all along that if there was some way that victims of gun violence were restricted purely to fellow gun owners and families, we wouldn't need to give a feck and could just get on with our lives.
That's why I'm not so quick with the 'thoughts and prayers' anymore because the victims are probably gun owner/advocates themselves. Perhaps news outlets should report stories like "Joe Bloggs, a gun owner from Texas was shot dead during an incident in a supermarket" or "Mass shooting in Chicago sees 6 people injured and 5 killed. Nine of the victims are confirmed as fellow gun owners".
If they're not going to rid of them, I would be happy with this.
Yeah, feck off with this. My cousin never owned a gun, nor has anyone in my family. He’s still dead though. Restrict gun deaths to the families of gun owners. Let them all rot in their death. Couldn’t care less if any gun owner died.
