Interesingly, live midweek Champions League games have far more of an impact on lower/non league attendances.
That would suggest the impact is the fact it’s a week night.Interesingly, live midweek Champions League games have far more of an impact on lower/non league attendances.
Sky spunked showing Newcastle every other week against dross at 5:30.“Newcastle vs Chelsea, that sounds like a good game…”
of course it’s on at 3pm. Seriously wondering why I bother with sky and BT.

I saw this thread bumped and thought oh, no, our next match is another 3pm one isn't? So was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's not.
It filled me with dread that I would have to click on a million links to find a working stream, then keep clicking to get rid of the ads and then have it fail 10 mins in and having to repeat the process all again, missing a goal in between.
Not having the blackout would be such an improvement to my quality of life. Usually greed wins out in this world and surely there's so much money to be made from this, why can't it this time?
Also, having to subscribe to different services (of which 99% of the content I don't care about) to watch all the televised matches because of monopoly rules, give me that fecking monopoly, I don't fecking care.
Maybe just get an iptv sub. All the games you can watch for a fraction of the cost.
Do you have a recommendation? How reliable is it? Is there a chance of it being shutdown?
Stalking horse to 3pm PL games?Women's football: Saturday '3pm blackout slot' backed as solution to help grow audience

Women's football matches should be shown live during the Saturday afternoon blackout, the director of ITV Sport has said.
No matches are currently shown during the "3pm blackout" slot - 2.45pm-5:15pm - to encourage attendance at games.
But in July, football chiefs began exploring whether matches in the Women's Super League could be televised on Saturday afternoons...

The ‘not wanting a monopoly’ thing is horse shit isn’t it. They take all the games, split them between 3 networks and give them the exclusive rights. Where’s the competition in that? It actually fecks the consumer rather than help them as you have to buy all 3 packages. Also, having to subscribe to different services (of which 99% of the content I don't care about) to watch all the televised matches because of monopoly rules, give me that fecking monopoly, I don't fecking care.
So if we get all the Newcastle and Chelsea players to wear wigs and mascara then I can watch the Saturday 3pm game on the television?
I'm intentionally not going to watch WSL on Saturday at 3pm as a protest to this feckwittery.
Pure and absolute gowlism. Just show the fecking football people want to watch you gonads

frustration rises as it becomes more apparent there is no stream available. Frustration turns to anger with Utd now 2 goals down. The small part of the match you can watch is atrocious with simple misplaced passes all over the park. The caf match day thread is going into melt down but you keep trying. Boom, a stream works, but we’re now 3-0 down. you lose the plot. Full time comes around having managed to watch about 10 mins of live football…all of it rubbish. The game ends 0-4 and the vitriol in the caf is escalating. Your mood is getting darker by the minute. It’s a 1230 Sat KO. Enjoy the rest of your Wknd
edited that for ya. Pretty standard summary

Some of them are terrible. Most of them are decent. I've been with my guy for more than 2 years and it's the best I've ever used. Let me know if you need any recommendations.I tried one and it was only marginally more reliable than streams. Seems like it's the same game of whack-a-mole to find one that's dependable and stays that way

How come there's a League 2 game being shown live at 3pm ? I get it's the final day but was under the impression there was no exceptions
