The 2012 Golf Masters Tournament

Jimenez messing with the ball before the last two put shots has really thrown him off.

Tiger has hit some shit shots today but what a beautiful shot to save par on the 18th.

Tiger better do a lot better tomorrow because he was all over the place today. he had a run of very makable putts early and missed all four.....crazy thing is he is still in with a shout.

That's because he's Tiger fecking Woods ;)

He needs to be within 3-4 of the leader tomorrow night. Do that and it puts massive pressure on everybody.

As I said months ago, it's not the final round that kills tiger of late, it's these rounds.

Woods will struggle I feel, he's too far gone already. McIlroy has a good shout, very consistent today.

Well the real Tiger woods doesn't have a track record of coming from behind to win majors and this versions is quite the real Tiger Woods.

I fancy Rory to win this. He's going along nicely and not necessarily has all the spotlight on him as he did last year.

Tiger is now 36. He first became world no 1 when he was 21. 15 years is as long as anyone has ever remained at the top of any sport.

He's done.

It's impossible to write Tiger off. All he needs is to get down around even par and I'd still not be able to completely write him off going into Sunday.

At this point though, I would fecking LOVE IT (Keegan-style) if Freddy Couples held on to win. If not him, I'm a big fan of Bubba Watson who's 1 back and Rory as well.

You are just saying this from his past reputation.

He just doesn't have the game at the moment from what I've seen of him in this tournament.

He won't win this tournament.

He shot 62 on Sunday about a month ago. He won a tournament two weeks ago. He's been significantly off form this week, but if there's a course in the world where you'd expect him to pull off something special, it's Augusta.

Finishing today at +3 however, he hasn't given himself much of a chance. If he'd gotten to even par or -1, I would fully expect a run at 65 or 66 tomorrow, when 71 will be a great score.

Tiger would need his greatest performance ever to win this tomorrow. Crazier swings of form might have happened in Sport, but it's still like a 1 in a 200 chance. He will always be a good character for the sport, but he now requires luck to win to win Majors, because he's not going to be the best pure player going into them again....that's just age though, and injuries plus a personal crisis(his own fault obviously) have made it worse.

Won't write him off to beat Jacks record still, you don't need to be the best to win, just the most consistent on any given week.

Is it just me who finds Butch Harman's constant stare down the lens annoying? He'll get asked a question and answer it at the camera, weirdo.

Anyway, keep it up Westy, and let's get that shot back Bubba!

McIlroy will struggle from -1. He's started so poorly. Never helps when your partner's having a nightmare too.

It's very underestimated that - look at the Molinari/Rose partnership. A good vibe is going around that group, and they both shoot low. The opposite with Rory/Sergio.

Rory is struggling today, Phil and Harrington are sneaking up the leaderboard.

Kuchar making a move, into the lead at -6. He's another one I'd love to see win - he's due a big win and he's got to be one of the nicest guys on Tour.

Westwood in the bunker at the 12th, not looking like his tournament.

It never is Westwood's tournament. I said a few years ago he's the new Montgomery, and I can't see him proving me wrong. Solid player with few weaknesses, but just doesn't have it in him to win a major.

I think there is more chance of him winning one that Montgomerie ever had! I think Donald could be the new Monty.

Absolute bollocks. At this tournament, i'd have serious doubts. He needed a 3-6 under par today. +3 is too far back, but you're deluding yourself if you think the same Tiger Woods that spanked the crap out of everybody the other week and hit an amazing round a month ago is finished as a player.

SO the stories about Rory and Luke in the clubhouse are true?

 What happened?

Liked seeing Couples name up there today. To bad about todays round for him. Phil for the jacket?

Sounds mean spirited but I don't want Hanson near the green jacket come 6:00pm tomorrow. I reckon he'll shoot 73 and be out of it. Phil will probably win, much to my chagrin.

So you don't want the seasoned veteran nor the underdog to win? So which Disney story line do you prefer for your Masters winner?
