Please don't link ALL threads about Tevez into that one dumbass stupidly long thread. I want to read about Tevez's medical being blocked but when i click on the appropriate thread it takes me to page1 of a thread 8,000 posts long which is full of Hectic spam! Where's the logic there?

I posted a big interview with Kia Joorabchian last night which was from May but it was a close look into how Kia got Tevez and all the complications that surround his transfer away from West Ham.
Was disappointed it to see it merged into the other topic because IMO it was worthy of its own thread.

i'm not too bothered on getting the latest on the Tevez saga from that thread though. i trust skysports, or guardian (even the Sun) more.
I think that the Tevez thread should be deleted and it should start again with strict moderation if possible.

It was fun while it lasted but I honestly wouldn't care at all if it was deleted and a new one started. It makes sense anyway as most of those posts are outdated and repeated over and over again.

Well, if the mods were to put up a little warning like 'any wums or spam messages' will be banned from the Transfer Forum that should scare people away.

I think one stickied thread should be set up in the 'Transfer Forum' which says: 'Tevez - Serious Discussions Only (Wums/Spams Banned)'
The first post should be a stern warning for any potential spammers or wums who want to turn it into the other thread. This way, everyone who wants the other thread to carry on running are still pleased because it can go on as long as it takes. And the people who want to discuss Tevez seriously, can use this thread for it and not worry about spams or wums.

Nice... but I'm not really sure if Mods will have time to check in every hour for the spam & wums.
Well, given that the thread will just be for 'serious' posters, they would regulate it themselves by having lengthy discussions and debates on Tevez, and if any spams or wums come, they will just scare them away or something.
Maybe someone should appoint Hectic as "Teveth-mod"!

What's worse it that alternative threads that people have started to have a serious discussion have also been spammed by some posters.
It really is too late to fix the present thread. The only solution is to lock that one and start a new one with any muppets fecking around being banned.
