Yes I agree Novak is a bit tight at the moment.
I swear every final I watch Djok loses the first set before blitzing the rest.
the result is good for Ruud so far... the thing is, Djoko has another 2 or 3 levels to show. Ruud is probably close to his peak here.
Yeah he's solid enough but not really elite but if Novak continues to not show up for 2 more hours, you never know. He did get tight vs Medvedev as well when chasing the Grand Slam. So there's some minor hope.

Pretty much as well as Ruud could have played and still loses the opening set.

Djoko can and probably will play better now after he managed to win the first. as for Ruud... just don't collapse now.
