Venus breaks in the 2nd.
There will be probably 30 mins after the first SF is over gap + the length of the match. I'd imagine short rallies, but it won't be many breaks.Could someone help me estimate what time the second men's semi finals could start tomorrow? I know it's dependent on how long the first one would take but even a rough guess assuming the first one is done in three sets would be very helpful.

Impossible to say. Querrey and Cilic have played each other twice at Wimbledon and both times it went 5 sets. The last one was like 5 hours long or something. I assume you're looking at 3 hours minimum and probably longer.

It depends on how you calculate the outcome of the match will be, but it's safe to say it's minimum 3 hours after it begins as Memphis mentioned above.
Even a 3 set match could last 90 minutes or 2 1/2 hours, so there's really no telling. Cilic and Querry could well play a bunch of tie breaks, so I guess we're looking at something of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours. Could go on much longer than that, though.
Shame Konta's not really been up to it, today. I think she could've won this, had she handled the nerves.
Thanks folks. And is it all but confirmed Cilic Querrey will be first up? Officially, they still haven't announced the order of play.

Could be a good final, though. Muguruza looks very good. Venus has the experience. No contest in the end. 2 poor semis after a great tournament in the womens side.
Amazing that a 37 year old woman is breezing through Wimbledon against a field of players in the prime of their careers.
I just knew someone was going to mentioned this, could easily say the same about that old Swiss bloke.
I don't know if its a good thing. Nice to see them doing well but not a great look overall for the game.Yep, the same can be said of Federer. Its pretty rare that you see players this old doing so well.

Konta is the new Henman.
I think he just called henman a lesbian.Yeah they both play a similar serve and volley game, are both male and are both born in England.
Wait what
The sad thing there is there is no one. Rafa was challenging the best as a kid whereas 20-22 year olds lose in straight sets to the big guys these days. The era post Rafa, Roger and Djoko is going to be one of the worst ever going by the lack of any real quality.I don't think Tennis has any players the calibre of Federer or the Williams sisters coming up today, which is why the oldies are still running the show. Once a new upstart emerges, it will all quickly end and a new player will take over.

Zverev and Thiem will win a slam. Both among the top 20 now and when they're in their prime the big four will be long gone. We're probably heading for a period much like the women's game now outside of Serena and to a lesser extent Venus Williams. Pinning my hopes for Kyrgios to polish his game and win a slam pretty soon. Otherwise it does seem like a dark age after the big 3 retire. The sad thing there is there is no one. Not rating Sascha?Pinning my hopes for Kyrgios to polish his game and win a slam pretty soon. Otherwise it does seem like a dark age after the big 3 retire.
I think we may have a transition to where the women's game is more popular. I've not lived through it, but I've read/heard where the women's side was more popular.Pinning my hopes for Kyrgios to polish his game and win a slam pretty soon. I can't watch women's tennis, because I know someone like Serena would lose against a top 150 male player. Takes the impressiveness out of it. Still can be enthralling in a close game, and not nearly as bad as Woman's football.I think we may have a transition to where the women's game is more popular. Right now, the WTA tour has probably been more interesting than the ATP for a while. I'm going to start following it more closely.
Not for me. A lack of big names or characters hasn't helped them. But following it (albeit from a distance), it seems pretty entertaining.I can't watch women's tennis, because I know someone like Serena would lose against a top 150 male player. Nah I rate him but I don't like his style, neither Thiem's. Kyrgios is more of a all rounder with a touch of arrogance around him. I like his style and as things stand will most likely be rooting for him after Fed is done. Not rating Sascha?
I think he can beat all the middling top 10s now in a couple of years.
Not a guarantee of course. Just look at Grigor.

Yeah, he spends more time bouncing the ball than playing tennis.Would love to see how long Cilic is taking between serves. Nadal-esque so far.
Not too exciting. Neither player able to do much in the opponent's serve. Cilic slightly more convincing so far.Having trouble with internet. Can't make it work on laptop.
It better works soon. Wimbledon SF ffs.
How's the match going?
